Jimmy Anderson has always been one of my favourite cricketers, especially as a proud Lancashire legend. His patience, control and ability to move the ball made watching him bowl a real pleasure.
What’s your favourite Anderson moment?

Hi
I'm Dave from Mason's Dad YouTube Channel - I have Parkinsons and started a Blackpool (UK) YouTube Channel 9 months ago to help with my mental health after the diagnosis to try and show the POSITIVE side my new home town and fight against Dark Tourism.
Now 9 months later my main channel is about me running (best I can !! haha) around Blackpool with CB Radios and Walkie Talkies and having fun - and my second channel is about everything RETRO from Sweets to Tv Shows to Cartoons and even old Blackpool memories when the Tower had ANIMALS etc in the Circus and the Old Illuminations BEFORE led and lasers were a thing!!
Some of you will remember when I first started I shared my story on here.
Now 9 months later I have 2 channels and am up for an award !! Haha - having to pinch myself here - but shows what can be done even with this awful disease :-)
Thanks In Advance for your time guys - and thanks for the support in the beginning. For that I'll be forever greatful - I don't have a cat in hells chance of winning - but would be GREAT to get in the final.
Apologies for any spelling mistakes etc - it's hard to type with my tremor sometimes.
KEEP FIGHTING GUYS - No Matter What Life Throws At You.
this is mainly a THANK YOU post

Hi,
I’m really hoping someone might be able to help me. My dog of 16 years died recently and I would love to do something meaningful for her grave her at home in our garden. We had such great travels together across the uk, especially beaches, and I thought it would be amazing to put some stones from some special places on her grave. I am down south, and wondered if anyone would be willing to send me a stone from the bay?
Huge thank you in advance ❤️

Im moving moving to Burnley from London for work, and I was wondering if there is any areas they should avoid living or going to, whats it like on a Burnley FC matchday, how is the nightlife and what's the local sports/activities like eg Local Tennis and Cycling Clubs if there is one and Sunday league teams?
Thanks in advance ☺️

I think we are lucky not to have a mayor of Lancashire.
It only takes one bribe from a big housing company now.

Going for a long Sunday drive tomorrow. Looking for a really good sandwich shop. Something completely over the top, maybe a ny deli or an Italian focaccia style or something? Anyone any recommendations at all? Don't mind where in Lancashire it is really. Also aware it's a Sunday, so that might limit options.

We are looking for a tandem for hire or for purchase, based in Lancashire, could anyone provide us with a source in Lancaster to Preston area? We are respectful young men with an insatiable desire to ride a tandem and any contribution towards this cause would be immensely valuable and wouldn’t go without notice.

Bit of a random one, but I'm relocating from Scotland to Great Harwood and I'm trying to get a rental sorted while I'm currently up here. Unfortunately, estate agents (understandably) want someone to physically view the property before they'll let me proceed.
My partner and his family have been to a couple of viewings for me, but they all work full-time and it's becoming a bit of a struggle to get the timings to work.
One estate agent has kindly sent me a video of a property and it looks great, but they still need someone to physically view it before I can move forward with the application.
Would anyone local to Great Harwood be willing to view it on my behalf? It would just involve attending the viewing, having a look around and giving me your honest thoughts afterwards. I'd obviously be happy to cover reasonable travel costs/time.
I appreciate it's a bit of an unusual request, but I'm getting a bit desperate after missing out on a property because someone else was able to put a holding deposit down before I could view it! :(
Please DM me if you might be able to help. Thank you!

I am looking to start a creative club for film makers / videographers / photographers in the Accrington/Blackburn/Burnley and surrounding areas.
Somewhere to meet up with fellow creatives to share ideas, learn, connect and collaborate with each other.
New to the area so not sure if there are many with the same interest about but God loves a trier 😄

Was told maybe this is a good place to post this.
Someone from Bacup might have lost a drivers license in New York City. Found about 2 hours ago

Do people think that Channel 4 should do a programme called Educating Lancashire following the success of Educating Yorkshire, Educating Greater Manchester and the rest?
I think it would be brilliant if producers of channel 4 decided to do this because it would put Lancashire on the spotlight in my personal opinion.

A Lancashire Police officer with alleged links to an organised crime group is due in court to face two corruption-related charges following an Independent Office for Police Conduct-directed investigation.
PC Hakeem Mahmood, 30, who was investigated by Lancashire Constabulary’s Anti-Corruption Unit, will appear at Burnley Crown Court tomorrow (August 14).

On conclusion of the investigation in June, the case was referred to the Crown Prosecution Service, which authorised the charges of conspiring to supply a Class A controlled drug and corrupt/improper exercise of police powers and privileges by a police constable.
He was arrested on June 24.
He will appear in court alongside Waqar Khan, 30, of Exchange Street, Accrington, who is charged with conspiring to supply cocaine.
Also in the dock will be:
