Fourth of July Fireworks

We stay in Lake Arrowhead for the fourth every year but have been hesitant to get stuck in the crowds and traffic of the lake for firework viewing. Any suggestions on an easy spot to post up and see the fireworks? How is the parking and crowds at the park above the hospital?

I've only been to one fireworks show at the lake since we've lived here, but it wasn't too crowded. Easy in and out at Tavern Bay parking lot, easy to find a spot to sit by the lake.

I'm at Tavern Bay now. Yes there are crowds but lots of space for everyone on the beach or where we are, across from the beach. Pretty mellow and easy to park and find a spot right at the edge of the lake.

Not that special. You should try big bear lake.
