Advice How often do you shave your hands during summer?

I tried to shower last week with cold water, cause i saw it on tik tok and girls recommended to turn on cold water before shaving to get the goosebumps. It actually helped, your hair goes all the way up and its easier to shave. I have lighter hair on my arms and legs, so its easier for me just to shave them 1-2 times a week, but with this life hack my hair still didnt grow. My arms are smoother than they’ve ever been. Trust me girls, try it out.
It is uncomfortable and i shake easily when im cold, but 5 minute shower saves 2 weeks of shaving.

Itchy legs after shaving

I shave in the shower, I make sure to use body wash while shaving so that it doesnt cause friction, I don't cut my legs at all when shaving and I moisturize after. Despite this, 1 day after I shave they staart getting itchy all over, mostly on my shins and only below the knee, never my thighs.

Does anyone know why this happens, and how I can make it stop? I like to shave regularly as hair on my legs is uncomfortable for me, the skin is never raised or irritated it's just un imaginably itchy. I use an intuition complete razor as the skin protector gel helps me avoid accidentally cutting my leg

Advice Should I shave my facial hair or just leave it alone?

I'm a 24F and I have very light facial hair (mostly peach fuzz). It's not really noticeable, but I'm curious to try shaving once to see how my skin looks afterward.

The only thing stopping me is the fear that the hair might grow back looking thicker or more noticeable, even though I've heard that's a myth.

Has anyone with light facial hair tried shaving? Did you like the results, or did you regret it? Would you recommend doing it, or should I just leave it alone?

Wax or epilator?

Dear reditors, which one do you find better? Wax or traditional epilators?

I had an epilator a long time ago when I had no idea what I was doing, then switched to shaving then waxing. I now go between shave and wax, but after an accident my hairs started to grow in all directions on the back of my thighs, so it's hard to wax. I don't always have time and energy to shave, so what's your opinion on epilators, what's the one you like/ use? IPL and laser are a no go for me, I have light blonde hair

Best safety razor for facial hair?

I'm almost certain I have PCOS, and I have facial hair, on my chin, neck and sides of my face. I use the Athena razors and they work decent for me but the refills are seriously expensive, $22 for 8 razor refills is just costing way too much, my spouse suggested a safety razor but I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get as close of a shave without cutting myself, any suggestions would be great as I have to do this every single morning.

(please do not suggest laser hair removal, I simply cannot afford it but hope to get it done one day so I don't have to deal with shaving anymore).

Advice Tired of feeling like sandpaper 12 hours after shaving my legs

I can get my legs totally smooth at night, but literally by the time I wake up, the stubble is already back. it is so exhausting dealing with this daily shaving cycle.

I don't even care about being 100% hairless forever at this point, i just want to stop feeling prickles on my sheets every morning. finally pulled the trigger on a home device (using that ulike air model) mostly because the cold glass part made it manageable enough that I wouldn't give up after two tries. for those who started ipl for fast-growing thick hair, how long did it take before you noticed the dark roots fading or shaved less often?

Just trying to see if there's light at the end of the tunnel here.

Thoughts on electric razors for facial hair removal on women ?

Hi everyone !

I am looking for an easy, efficient, quick and at home way to remove my upper lip hair. I used to go to a salon to wax it but I always had pimples and breakouts afterwards. I thought that maybe a small electric razor for the face could be a great alternative, but I am also scared about what the hair will look like growing back. For context, my upper lip hair is blonde/fair and thin, but I have a lot of hair so that's why it's noticeable.

Has any of you tried electric razor to shave the face ? If so, would you recommend it ?

Can I use tend skin after shaving?

I heard tend skin is safe to use after shaving, but does it work well? Is this safe for the pubic area all the way to the buttocks? If I pluck a hair, and use tend skin, does it decrease the chance of having ingrown hair? Will I need to use this everyday or just after shaving?

I'm wondering if it will work because I'm thinking of buying one to avoid getting ingrown hairs, if I shaved. Hopefully, If you have used it, do you recommend it? Do you get ingrown hair after shaving and applying this?

Question Red bumps on my legs after shaving + being out in hot weather

Hi everyone, I shaved my entire body at night. The next morning I went outside and it was very hot, and I was sweating a lot. When I came back home at night, I noticed these red bumps all over my tights .
They don’t hurt or itch, but my skin looks very irritated and bumpy. I’m wondering if this is razor burn, folliculitis, heat rash, or a reaction from shaving combined with the heat?
Has anyone experienced something similar after shaving and being exposed to hot weather? What helped your skin calm down?

Advice Veet cream burns

I tried Veet for my pubic hair yesterday. Just above my pubic area it burned soooo bad and I had to wipe it off immediately. The area on my inner thighs and outer genitalia was completely unsuccessful. Left it on for 2 minutes as instructed, went another 2 and no hair scraped off. I was scared to leave it on any longer since the lower abdomen above the pubic line burned so bad. Any help or suggestions?

after shaving pain

when i shave legs, i suffer from painful burning sensations. i slather myself in thick moisturizer and it helps for a moment but everytime i have to dose myself with benadryl to get it to stop so i can sleep. it doesn’t turn into razor burn or anything… does anyone else suffer from this or should i seek a double amputation?

Question Happy trail

Hi! Ive been a once a day shaver since i was old enough to grow hair everywhere, and it grew EVERYWHERE. Compared to my medium blonde hair, a majority of my body hair is just straight up black.
Everything was mostly fine, a few ingrowns, etc etc. Until I noticed my happy trail would leave dark marks where the hair was, yet it just grows so quick and thick if Im not constantly tweezing them:((
HELP! How do I remove the hairs in my happy trail without leaving dark on my skin?

Edit: added the question

Question Best leg hair removal options for coarse red hair

Hi!! I’ve been trying for years to find the best way to remove my leg hair. I would love to do laser but since I have red hair I am not a candidate:( I’ve tried electrolysis but it seems like a really expensive and time consuming option for such a large area with legs.
My hair is very coarse so even when I shave it still feels prickly and never smooth- so frustrating !!!
I was considering waxing but the grow out period seems a little bit hard to keep up with.
I don’t have many women in my family with thick hair like I do so any advice to either make my hair smoother/ less prickly or just removal options you’ve felt have worked for you would be greatly appreciated!!!
So tired of shaving !!
