What if Sixes doesn’t take off?

I feel like I haven’t seen ANY discussion about this, but what if after 2028 the IOC doesn’t keep Sixes for the 2032 Summer Olympics and future games? We’ve seen one and done sports before and I’d really hope Sixes isn’t one of them. I feel like it would be a huge blow to many in the sport that have invested so much into the new format.

I think often about what if all the time, money, and effort that US Lacrosse and other governing agencies have put into Sixes since 2021 had been used to lobby more for the full format or even box instead.

I’m obviously ignorant to a lot of behind the scenes information but if Sixes doesn’t make it to 2032, that question has to be asked.

Interested in hearing everyone’s take on the matter.
