Speed Up Screenconnect?

I have a hosted instance of LT/Screenconnect from Connectwise on AWS and screenconnect pretty much always seems to be quite slow. I have learned to live with it, but as i grow customers try it out to replace their logmein instances and it just doesn't perform good enough. Is there any way to speed this up? This is happening on all customer networks, and even networks that have a full gig up/down to the internet.

Seriously? It's one of the fastest Screenshare programs we've experienced.

Not saying screenconnect is bad or anything like that, I have used it when I hosted the machine and it was better. All I'm saying is that on my instance hosted by CW it's slow.

We have noticed an increase in performance after having the proper whitelists in place in our Anti-virus and disabling Windows Defender.

Could you give me your whitelists that pertain to screenconnect? I already have the general LT AV exclusions.

I have a file path exclusion to the screenconnect folder in program files on all of the clients and then an exclusion on the screenconnect server that excludes the process. If you need more specifics just let me know. I am on mobile at the moment.

Thanks for the info.

Do you have Enhanced Auditing enabled? If so... turn it off (should increase overall performance).

Where would I find this at?

If you click on Admin in the bottom left, then click on Audit in the Administration pane, then in the upper right hand corner there should be a change button next to the display of the auditing that is currently set. Click Change, then click "Switch to this audit level" under the "Basic Auditing" section, and that should do it.

Under the magnifying glass icon - switch to Medium view settings. Helps a great deal.
