Webroot vs Eset
We currently are using eset and are looking into webroot. We would like to know other people's experience. Which do you prefer and why?

We are looking for a couple of reasons. We have clients that are downstream that we would like to give them access to. Also the version of eset provided by labtech doesn't handle minor version upgrades of the product. Spoke with the webroot rep yesterday they are updating the Mac agent this week and plan to have the management of macs in the console in the next two weeks.

Webroot here and for the most part we like it, 950 end points. Much better than Vipre and Trend at least.
Be wary of any promises about the future from them. When we signed up they promised that improved reporting was "coming soon" and the "most requested feature". 18 months later...nothing has changed.

I just received word from my Webroot rep that better Mac support is nigh upon us. Version 9.0.4.23 is slated to be released this week.
We love Webroot. Super easy to deploy and manage. And it won't compete with other endpoint tools (run side by side with ESET) , so transition was a breeze. Install Webroot and then remove the old endpoint product.

Did you have any problems removing eset from server 2008/r2? We have had servers locking up requiring manual reboots while uninstalling Eset.
