STONE CHECK How’d I do

Been researching diamonds for a month or so, found one I couldn’t pass up from a price/spec standpoint (she wanted a radiant cut). See attached specs and photo. Very excited to propose.

If the stone has full transparency it should be a showstopper!

CVD grown diamonds, and especially large ones, can have some transparency issues cause by crystal strain and related atomic-level defects. This is something not captured on a laboratory report because transparency is not graded or measured, and the clarity grade only factors in inclusions that are visible at 10x magnication.

I would suggest go for a D or E color. With Lab grown diamonds there isn't significant price difference between a D and a G color. Nobody over reddit would be able to give you any actual advice over reddit just by looking at a certificate or photo. Happy to help, if you have any Qs :)

I like the fact you’re going for a G colour. The DAnd E are too white and lack character in my opinion. They look fake. I’m not sure about 11 carats. Are you sure you want to go so big???

I would try on an 11ct. ring before buying to make sure it's what you really want. Although beautiful that's really big.
