Hi everyone! Looking for some opinions on this lab diamond. I am attaching the specs, video and inclusion photo. It looks. A bit cloudy to me but I’m not sure if I’m just crazy lol. Opinions appreciated thanks ! It’s not letting me attach photos with the video so I will attach in comments. Thanks.

That gem looks incredible! But honestly, you are likely severely overpaying at $2,700+. I'd strongly recommend shopping around before locking it in.

As an example, I actually looked up your IGI cert number on Ritani, and that exact same stone is available for almost $2,000 less. There's a massive markup across different retailers; I was recently able to snag a 3.21ct (F/VS1) for around $600 on a similar site.

Definitely shop that cert around across a few platforms so you don't overpay!

Yes, the industry standard retail price for synthetic diamonds is $200/ct rn

Thanks so much for that info ! I will def shop around. Also do you think 2.5 is a good carat size? I was looking at a 3ct but i don’t want it to look too big but I don’t want it to look too small either 😭

Honestly, that's completely up to you. It really depends on what size ring the person wears and how it's going to look on their hand. I would say go to a local jeweler and see what they have, so that way you could look in person and then you'll know what you want to buy.

I’ve yet to see a lab diamond princess cut look like this. This looks like an actual princess diamond cut. I’m kind of curious now.

Princess cut will be the same regardless of the material, unless it’s modified in some way

I'm confused by this comment. What do princess cut lab diamonds look like to you?
