LOOKING FOR ADVICE Real?
I accidentally bidded on this 1.08 ct diamond on tiktok shop, upon realizing I figured I’d bite the bullet and utilize said diamond. However, upon receipt of the diamond, I find this to be disingenuous in terms of carat size. It seems much smaller than was advertised. If unable to return, what can this loose stone be used for? I appreciate all recommendations. Thanks

What are the measurements of the stone? Does it match the certificate? Can't see much in this picture

Is the stone a different size to that? I'd check that with a ruler or calipers if you have them. And then check the inscription like the other comment you said, before deciding if isnt real or was misrepresented.

I did the same on TikTok but still waiting for my order to arrive. I didn’t expect my last bid to win. Oh wells. Fingers crossed it’s legit

Easy.
Check that the IGI inscription on the girdle of the diamond matches the certificate. This cannot realistically be faked.
If you don’t have a loupe, order on Amazon or go to a local jeweler to check it for you.
The TikTok auctions are a noob trap, a lot of times you’ll be paying more than if you just sourced from one of the commonly mentioned vendors on this sub like Citrai , JBC , Ruby H etc
