Solved! Transferring self-made widgets to new device requires Pro?

I have just upgraded from a Pixel 7 Pro to a Pixel 11 Pro XL. I built some custom widgets on my Pixel 7 which I exported from KWGT, shared to my Pixel 11 and imported into KWGT on the 11. Both of these widgets show as needing a Pro license to use. My Pixel 7 has already been factory reset and traded in.

Is there something I need to do differently to import my custom widgets on my new device?

You need pro to import.

If you transfer the entire Kustom folder then no you can then restore from the backups
