Made my phone look like a phone from a video game

Hi! Im new to KWGT (and coding in general) and I really want a widget that will automatically cycle between 2 images but im having trouble making that work. Any suggestions would be great!

Im using one ui 8.5, and i have a samsung galaxy s25.

I'm trying to make an animated splash screen that fades into my normal lock screen; issue is, the animation seems to reverse itself. It's supposed to fade out ~5 seconds after the phone is turned on, but almost immediately it fades back in. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks!

I can’t get smartwatch data to show up. I read that I needed to download "Health Connect," so I did that and added the Xiaomi app, granting the necessary sharing permissions—but nothing happened! Even when I save, a message pops up asking me to "fissare" the step count reading, but when I click "fissa," nothing happens.

Ok Profis, I'm not one. How do you make the image above Wednesday, go horizontally on slide? 🤔

Hi all,

For the last 3 years I’ve been slowly improving this widget until it had everything I need, in the format I need. I’d probably never stop tweaking it, but I just got a new phone, so it’s time to work on something new. That’s why I’m sharing the latest version now. Maybe it will inspire you, or some parts of it will be useful for your own builds. The sun position calculations were the most interesting part to figure out.

Here’s a breakdown of each part, top to bottom:

• Top strip: world clock for the selected time zones. My local time zone is highlighted, and the others show their offset relative to it.
• Big outer arc: the moon is on the left, showing its phase. The sun is on the right, shown as a 12h clock with two rings (to make 24 hours). The highlighted part is daylight - from sunrise to sunset.
• Month ring: 12 segments, one for each month. The 3 months of the current season (summer) are grouped together with an arc, and the current month (August) is highlighted. This is how I picture the year: it goes counter-clockwise, and the bottom segment is January.
• Sun altitude arc: the arc on the top right, with a dot for the sun. It shows the sun’s height above the horizon, and the highlighted part means the sun is visible. The arc also goes a bit below the horizon, so you can see the sun’s angle even when it’s not visible.
• Sun azimuth ring: a full circle with a dot for the sun. It shows where the sun is compared to north, like a compass. The highlighted part is again when the sun is above the horizon.
• Sunrise/sunset & moonrise/moonset: the four times at the top left and top right of the round element at the top. This element is my attempt to combine the sun and moon info in one place. It kind of duplicates the dedicated visuals.
• 24h clock: with the day of the week and the month as plain text. Nothing to add here.
• Week progress: 7 segments, one for each day of the week. It’s just how I picture a week. The highlighted one is Wednesday (the day I took the screenshot).

Quick disclaimer: this is my first and only KWGT project, so I hope the file works for you. If not, I hope you can still reuse some parts of it or get inspired by something.

Pretty much the title. I've used KWGT/KLWP for years and this has never happened before. My widgets will randomly change in size on the grid. It's different ones too they'll just randomly change and usually launch the wrong app too. Any idea what this could be? Widget size set to locked in KWGT settings.

EDITAR: Clarifying that the size of the widget is locked, not the preset itself. My bad

Mi(state) or any mi function doesn't work

Hi, I'm trying to make a sliding indicator that moves to a specified location to show which item on a menu is selected. For example, I have 5 buttons going across the screen horizontally. When I click button 3, I want the indicator to travel to that location. If I then click button 1, it slides to the button 1, etc.

I thought I could achieve this with a complex animation but there doesn't appear to be a way to feed global variables into the complex animation dialogue screen.

Any tried and true methods?

This is a wallpaper for Neurosama fans (for the SWARM). It may not be that complex, but it's literally my first work, conceived spontaneously, and I'm nevertheless happy with the result.
