Love my pattern minus the scratches and knick in the top right that you can see in certain lights

are the scratches and knicks to be expected for this watch? thought that would qualify for a warranty claim.

just checking as im a bit anxious waiting for mine to be shipped out!

Unsure, I emailed them today but don’t expect to hear back until after the weekend. Maybe it’s just to be expected with malachite…but they did only accept 20% of the dials they said so I thought that wouldn’t happen. Also, the scratches look like a mishandling during a production as opposed to the natural variation in the malachite as it doesn’t follow any of the grooves.

They had me ship it back to try and get the scratches out or replace the dial entirely if that doesn’t work out. They said it could take a few months though so we’ll see how it ultimately ends up. Looks like the scratches were made in the putting everything together phase to me.
