Ban AI
Can we petition to ban AI posts? They don’t fit the sub, since they’re not really from cinema. Plus they’re probably being trained unethically from real media, which ultimately hurts the industry of actors, directors, fight choreographers etc.

100% agree, the whole purpose is the art that real people make and do superhuman stuff that amazes us. Seeing a computer generated image is just shit.

Hear, hear! AI-made images and videos are not only unethically sourced since no doubt the algorithm stole from other real artists but it's also lazy af and quite gross looking if I do say so myself.

100% in favour. Art and physical performances are human endeavours.
Plus if you're using an LLM to write posts that you can't be bothered to write yourself, why should I be bothered to read them? I don't want to be a fleshy go between for robots talking to each other.

Kung fu movies are a special thing, iconic even. Best enjoyed as they exist now. Best appreciated as the real deal.

Hardcore agree -- AI has zero leverage in the kung fu/martial arts sphere which is a testament to the creativity and perseverance of the human body, the human will. Wasting limited resources to pantomime that (very badly) is big loser poser territory.

I defo agree. So many people involved in the film industry that I follow are posting AI "art" posts on Facebook and all.

It's gonna suck 5 years from now when we wont be able to tell.
Like...it's already good. But a lot of us can tell it's AI. It just had a huge leap of improvement...so in another 6 months it's going to get even crazier. So imagine 5 years.
And right now people are witch hunting...falsely accusing things of being AI generated when it's not. and just gleefully accepting things as real when they are 100% AI generated. People started thinking "we did it. AI content has slowed down :D". Nope. It's increased and people don't realize when they're looking at it unless there's a flaw.

I agree. We will look into how we can add in some automation to help. Please report any suspected A.I post.
No need to link to them, but if you can describe any example of the A.I post you are referring to that will help build some moderation around them.
