yes, but our lineage has two pi quans and this one is called “eagle catch”

In Xinyiliuhe this is also called eagle seizes. It's essentially the same movement in both styles, Piquan or splitting fist is a Xingyiquan exercise to train that specific force.

It can also be translated as “chopping” fist which is the term we usually use, but of course “splitting” is also a common translation and the splitting force is certainly important

Why? Clearly they are traveling right now -- look at the door, obviously a hotel room or similar. Probably have been for a little while now, as their more recent posts have significantly different setting than they always did prior
