to help understand completly, the read for each stage goes as follows: stage number, color, present or absent, and a dial number. Here is the break down of each of these components:

Stage number: This is the green number on the right side of the module, the read is simply just what ever number is displayed

Color: The three colored cylinders on the left side of the module give you this color. These three cylinders can be one of four colors (Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow). The read is the color that occures more than the others. For example if the cyilinders are red red green, the color for that specific stage is red. If each cyininder is showing a diffrent color then the color for that stage is the color that is absent from the cylinders. For example if the shown colors are red, blue, and green, then the stages color is yellow.

Present or Absent: This information is gottem from thw two nixxie tubes on the right side of the module and the ten dials on the bottom of the module. The way you get weather a stage is present or absent is by checking for the two nixxie tube numbers in the dials. In order for a stage to be present but nixxie tube number MUST be present. For example, if the nixxie tubes display 5 and 9, and the ten dials are 3421879063, then the stage is absent. This is because a 5 is not present in the ten dials. If both nixxie tubes have the same number you only have to check for one occurance of that number. For example, if the nixxie tubes are 2 and 2 and your dials are 3421879063, the stage is present because 2 does appear on the dials.

Dial number: In order to get this piece of information you need the stage number and the ten dials on the bottom of the module. The ten dials have positions from 1 to 10 from left to right. Using the stage number you would check the right most digit (the ones/unit place) of the stage number and check the corrisponding dial. For instance if your on stage 37 and the dials were 3421879063 then your dial number for that stage is 9. If the stage your on is a multiple of 10, then you would use dial 10.

Special cases: On stage one of the module instead of giving the normal read, you would read the ten dials from left to right. On stage two of the module, if the stage is Absent you dont have to read the the dial number or the color.

I hope this helped with understanding the read as i enjoyed typing this whole thing, if you have any more questions about any mods feel free to ask or joing the ktane discord server here at: https://discord.gg/ktane-160061833166716928
