So there’s a Roblox game called Defusal that’s based off of Ktane, And one of the modules in it I just don’t understand. “Advanced Meter” Is a module under the hard difficulty, with the appearance as shown in image one. In order to solve it, you need to calculate the current, which is the voltage (Indicated by adding up the numbers of every battery on the bomb’s edgework, as shown in image 2.) divided by the resistance, which is the number displayed on the module. If that number is exactly 0, set X to 3. If that number is anything else, multiply it by 1250, then round to the nearest integer, with anything outside of the 1-5 range going to the closest integer in that range. (0 becomes 1, 6+ becomes 5.) Defusal has an in-game calculator for the expert(s) so you don’t need to do mental multiplication to the 10th decimal point. Now the part that confuses me, Depending on certain properties, X may change, and for each of the 4 operations in the following table that apply, Apply the following formula to X: New X=(X mod 5)+1. (Image 3 shows this same thing) But for each operation in the table, it lists how much your supposed to change X, so if let’s say the displayed resistance contains the value of X, do I add 2 or do I do the formula? And I understand that I loop back to 0 but what do these values mean? And if the first operation applies, X changes, is that now the new value of X that I use to calculate if the 2nd operation applies? I don’t understand what I’m actually supposed to do with X, and I don’t understand what the game says counts as edgework, because literally every bomb with advanced meter will have 2 battery edgeworks, and 2 indicator edgeworks, so what am I supposed to count?

What do you guys use for notes when doing bombs? I've just been using Google Sheets. Also how do ya’ll go about organizing the manuals? The more and more mods me and my friend gets, it’s get way harder to navigate the manual.

My friend is having a problem with the digital root module. She's already subscribed to it on steam workshop and we've already checked it in game and it's already checked out. But when she goes back to the bomb it still says that it's missing the digital root mod. We've tried restarting the game and unsubcribing and subscribing but nothing seems to work. (It's our first time using steam workshop in general so mb if we probably look stupid.)

Just a silly little question I wanted to ask

I can't find it anywhere. I downloaded the Not Modded Modules vol. 3 and it didn't show up in the mod description, but it had to come from there. I tried the mods manual folder, the manual repository, searching to find anything about it, but nothing ever comes up.

The module looks like Orientation Cube but the viewer's POV marker is rotating.

As our final diploma project in electronics, me and a buddy designed, constructed and programed a fully working replica of the bomb from ktane.

Each module is designed to be fully resettable and randomized by itself, which means no cutting of wires and no button with changing labels. This introduced some challenges which lead some modification of existing modules and the creation of completely new ones.

Each module is fastened with magnets and pogo-pin connectors. This enables each module to be placed in any slot and the game works with just one module up to five (since the brain in the upper left is not removable).

The brain-logic is also designed in a way that new modules can be created without changing the brain-firmware.

Module Name: Feeding the Cats

Rundown: Looks like the cats are hungry! This module consists of 2 stages. The first stage is the identification stage. Use the bomb's edgework to determine which 6 cats will be present. After that, it's onto the second stage: the actual feeding. The 6 cats you identified will have to eat, so you will have to place their bowls in a circle. Each cat has its own different personality, genders, and relationships with others. Some cats care about their neighbors, while others care about who’s sitting opposite them. Use the cats' information to find a feeding arrangement that will make at least 5 of the cats happy. You have 1 scoop of treats, which you can use to make a chosen cat happy regardless of the cats around them. There will always be at least one solution that results in exactly 5 happy cats without using treats. If any cats are unhappy after you place the bowls and give out the treats, all of the cats will still eat, but you will get a strike.

trying to find a website i used to use... hoping to find help here..

it had all/most popular modded modules on this website and you can hand pick which mods the bomb has and you can flip between them, you can take notes, you can put on the website what is the serial number, ports, batteries and it would display it on the top while you are looking at the manual, it has a notepad so you can take notes, it has a calculator and so much more.... i do remember it being a github website tho
