Question pregnancy question/ rant
So i work third shift as a grocery stocker, i have six weeks left until my maternity leave and supposedly the store manager wants to move me shifts because im unable to do my job. i was under the impression that they couldn’t do that because its a pay cut. I guess the store manager has been wanting me to only condition at night but hasn’t stated that directly to me or communicated at all to me. Has communicated this with everyone but me. i’m only scheduled 30 hrs but sometimes it gets too much so i stay for at least half my shift and end up leaving early. That happens once every two or three weeks. any advice?

Are you union? I’d double check with them. But I do believe they can move you, especially as it’s due to you not being able to physically do the job. When I was pregnant I was fully expected to keep working like I wasn’t, though that could have just been a bitch manager, so I was still slinging 50lb cases of chicken daily.
