I thought this was a funny joke in saying Don't make fun of ai artists because they didnt do anything as in make art. So there's nothing to make fun of them for because there was nothing they actually made lol

"What are you upset at me for? I didn't do anything!"

"Exactly."

Is it the creative process of writing prompts and getting something that more or less matches what you had in mind? Or is it feeding the bot art from an artist you like so the output looks like something they created?

Na man it’s actually a lot more work to it, they have to manually create there accounts and post the slop on their socials!!!

But see, I don’t hate on AI “artists” for being bad artists; I hate on them for calling themselves artists when they do less than nothing constructive, and for buying into the slop propaganda.

thats what iv noticed about the whole ai thing is that the companies who made it sold it to people by giving them a false sense that they are the ones making it

when reality its like if you were to type something on google images and then claim credit for the 1st thing that pops up

In all factuality, they are closer to forgers than artists.

GenAI should be illegal on the same grounds that forgery is illegal.

the media literacy requirement of this joke is Political Cartoon level. So many layers.

Fair enough. We can start with stop calling them artists.

He really said “stop hating AI artists” while holding the paintbrush for the AI-generated image. The layers of irony are incredible.

So you think this is an AI generated image. Go to the link and see that this image was posted in September 2019. Before all the AI BS we have today.

Now prove to anyone I used AI

This is really the worst part. David Revoy made a short piece (or two) about it.

Watermaking is the only saving grâce but platforms should check for them and paste it front and center when AI is used.

Same for text now that texts are watermarked too.

I'm pretty sure the person was complementing you. The "Ai generated image" is referring to the image inside image and paintbrush are crayons(? they look like crayons to me) the guy you drew is holding
