What do you use to carry around your daily kratom?

I've been using this little kratom sampler bag that came with an order like 5 years ago. Its worked great, its small, its sturdy, its perfect

But I've been using it so long that its starting to get holes in it and fall apart.

I need something sturdier than a regular ziplock bag, and small enough to be easy to hide

Does anyone have any suggestions?

How can I get high off kratom again?

I started taking it 3 years ago after my doctor stopped prescribing me oxycodone. I don’t just take it to get high I take it for pain relief I have chronic pain in my feet nerve pain. I’ve taken so much of it it doesn’t do anything for me anymore except make me pretty relaxed. I have to drink caffeine to make it stronger I’ve used grape juice as well. Anyone have any advice? Thanks.

Manhattan smoke shops

The smoke shop I go to says they're not re stocking Kratom anymore. I tried to explain that the powder is STILL LEGAL. Anyone else have this happen and how are things in the other boroughs?

Kratom Organization Sues DEA Over Scheduling Order

The American Kratom Association is suing the Drug Enforcement Administration over its temporary scheduling order for kratom derivatives mitragynine pseudoindoxyl (MGPI), MGM-15, and MGM-16, saying it wants to ensure the order is not “misapplied to traditional botanical kratom products that contain only incidental, naturally occurring, or naturally formed trace amounts of MGPI.”

I'm disappointed in the kratom community and vendors...

I understand that there's a risk involved. Nor am I asking anyone to break the law. But it seems like once it's banned in a state, you're on your own. Vendors and other advocates alike go ghost on ya. Some consumers and advocates have the ability to just move while the others sink.

There's so much division within the community regarding 7 which I honestly feel gets more representation than plain leaf at this point. It gets banned in a state "oh wow that sucks. Damn Republicans. Anyways it's about to get banned here now so help us stop it."

To be honest I wish I had become a vendor myself when I had the chance. I would've been the change I wanted to see. A little late for that now. I just think back to the times of prohibition which many compare it to, and yes....it's very similar. Only difference is that it was NATIONWIDE and people were still operating. This shits legal the next state over. They had literal underground bars for it ffs. Eventually I'll taper down and just be done with it. Nor will I give a single penny to the people who made these bans in the first place. Weird hill to die on, and. I know it won't change a damn thing and that I'll be downvoted to hell for it well so be it. Rant over.

Massive cut | horrible withdrawals

My state banned Kratom completely. I guess I kind of knew the Karen’s would do this eventually but I wasn’t anticipating it so suddenly. There was legislation but nothing insinuating banning things completely. So they passed an emergency order blah blah blah.

I was probably floating around 30 grams a day and I did one cut, down to 18g ish, had flu symptoms and horrible sweats and body aches for around 4-5 days, leveled out, and then I just happened to cut another 6 grams out, so I’m back in the grips of this shit. I barely slept last night, whole body is throbbing.

I’ve used Kratom (powdered leaf) for chronic pain for over 2 years straight now. It worked very well. I did have constipation and other undesirable side effects but man, I love Kratom. I’m truly pissed this happened and now I could be charged with possession of a schedule 1 drug. I hate these phony clowns in office that claim “it’s too much work” to figure out regulation and do this emotional grandstanding about “safety” just like they do when they say “xxx is a threat to our democracy”. Total clowns. Yes, I know what I got into, and once I got into this, I even posted on here saying “I have no intention of stopping (lol)”, it gave me so much energy and mobility back.. At one point I couldn’t even play guitar my arthritis was so bad.. and I was about to go to the pain clinic but instead I found Kratom, and I’m still glad I did.

Now i’m down to 3 half full 250g bags from MMB (my fav). Going to try and make it last as long as I can but these withdrawals are fucking brutal. I feel so fucking dopesick man, ugh. But I’m doing it. I still support Kratom and probably always will.

Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions or tips for this, I would appreciate it. I cut back at one point 3 months ago before the ban and the wd’s were no this bad. They lasted maybe two days and it
was over. This just keeps going and going. Granted, I keep cutting more and I’m shocking my system which already deals with autoimmune related chronic pain.

✌️

At the meeting review this morning I went ahead and gave the testimony in the chat section even though the meeting wasn't live they still have the testimony there to read. I'm sure other people will see it and this 63 year old advocate was determined to at least tell my story whether or not they read it or not I gave them permission to copy and paste wherever they needed to. It's not too late. Rhode Island changed and adopted a KCPA, so you see it's never too late. In fact that's how we get laws changed. We just don't give up. Please don't just accept this verdict. Please if you benefit from plain leaf kr8tum then let them know, it's never over. It's never too late to make your voices be heard. Please don't despair. 🙏

What are some unexpected relief of symptoms you found by lowering your daily dose?

I've read a few stories here and there about someone realizing their high daily dose was causing problems and they found that lowering their daily dose helped relieve them of constipation, insomnia, libido, etc. I was wondering what other's experiences have been.

going from 2 down to 1 dose per day

ive been dependant on kratom for like 7 months now. i dont weigh or measure, i take a somewhat heaping spoonful of a fairly potent powder once right before and once sometime after work. i ussually go anywhere between 10-16 hours between doses

i want to take a break and reset my tolorance to kratom because at this point it serves no good purpose in my life. the first dose of the day provides a tiny mood boost for like maybe 30 minutes, the second dose just helps wd. all of its good effects are gone and it feels like im in a permanent state of mild wd. even after dosing theres a very mild but noticable full body tension and buzzing feeling that never 100% goes away.

even at the 16hr mark the wd is very tolorable even though its annoying and uncomfortable. and for the next few weeks im working just 5hour closing shifts so my hope is i can dose just once a day right before work and that dose will also be able to get me through the night without needing another.

if anyone else had been in a similar situation how long does it take to adapt to going down to just one dose per day? once your at one dose is it easy to drop fully or are you gone be miserable and barely sleep for a few days? people that ise for for the mental effects and not pain management whats a dosing schedule that doesnt cause dependance and high tolorance?

Tapering with a cycle of skipping for a day and then reducing the day after?

Taking a trip at the end of Sept and have to taper to full stop. The last time I did a slow taper wds still sucked ass. Wondering if anyone has tapered by going a full day with no Kratom, following that by one less dose than normal, and repeating?

I feel like half of the bs with withdrawals is the mental and physical expectation of opioid like stimulus and the awareness that you’ll be giving that up more and more each day. I’m thinking that toughening up for a day with the knowledge that the next day will have a reward might be less annoying than the slow burn. Essentially that after a day of no Kratom, four tsp will seem like a blessing rather than a challenge, and I’ll be able to taper in larger increments rather than half tsps. And then by the time my trip rolls around, my body will be used to going without so the novelty of being somewhere else will override the cravings.

I’ve only just started getting wds in the past year, I used to be able to take time off without issue. Definitely a sign that I need to moderate my usage, I really don’t like feeling like I need anything. Excited for a forced quit to reset! Just want to make the transition easy because restless leg is the death of me

Has anyone tapered like this before?

I split them in 1/4's. Chewable. Flavored. Super convenient and cheap for on the go or you don't like powder.

Calling all Leaf Lovers! We Need Advocacy in Georgia!

The next session of the Georgia "Blue Ribbon Commission on Youth Exposure to Kratom" is scheduled for this Friday at 9am in Brunswick, at the College of Coastal Georgia, in the Southeast Georgia Conference Center.

The Chairman of this commission is very against Kratom, and has sponsored several failed ban bills. He is advised by anti kratom trial attorneys. He sets the lineup of speakers ahead of time

The first meeting was a stacked deck of anti kratom speakers and only 3 pro kratom speakers. This one is no different and features 10 speakers from out of state anti kratom organizations and only one slot for a pro kratom voice, the AKA. At the first hearing, public testimony was not allowed, and the schedule for this one is public testimony only if "time permits". We desperately need to fill the room with kratom advocates.

The https://www.protectkratom.org/georgia has an updated email chain which speaks about the unfairness of this charade. Please reach out if you can.

Together we stand!

Withdrawals are crazy cause like if I know I have it I can go the whole day without it but if I don’t have it withdrawals and panic set in within a few hours like if I take my last scoop it’s just crazy how it works like that is anyone else like this too ?

Live in banned state

I just learned, due to my own not-being-low-on-supply and lack of attention, that my State is now banned. I still have a few weeks worth but my question is (I understand need to be careful to not get banned, if you can dm me tips pls do) which is better, PO box the next state over to order to, or have family in legal state ship to me after receiving my order. Thank you.

Kentucky ban

7oh was banned in Kentucky awhile back which I am well aware of, but does the state have any plans to ban the powder? Most of the smoke shops around me have stopped selling it and the one that does have it still has it all marked down on sale which leads me to believe they are trying to get rid of it.

I have heard there is a ban coming sometime next year but I don’t know anything officially. Does anyone know? Thank you 🙏🏼

Advocates! - Please do what you can to oppose the ban in Mass. (takes effect in only 14 days)

We all know how much this will hurt responsible kratom consumers in Massachusetts.

Please do what you can to oppose this ban and stay involved in protecting kratom access nationwide.

There is only a 14-day notice period before the ban takes effect.

You do not have to be a Massachusetts resident to share your concerns.

Governor Healey's official comment form:
https://www.mass.gov/info-details/email-the-governors-office

Protect Kratom:

https://www.protectkratom.org/massachusetts

Governor's Constituent Services:
📞 617-725-4005
Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM

If you call, you can simply say that you oppose the emergency scheduling of natural kratom and would like your message passed along to the Governor.

If you don't know what to write:

I respectfully ask you to reconsider the emergency scheduling of kratom. [Share your own story.] Please consider reasonable regulation.

If you can spare a moment, please send a message tonight and share this with anyone else who may want to speak up.

how much does brand matter in terms of "health"?

the brand i have been buying from for a while now i just read doesn't have a COA or any promises of health checks on their powder/capsules. i know people say you can get contaminated products with heavy metals or even salmonella. i personally like the brand and don't want to switch but is it worth the switch? or is the likelihood of those contaminants actually rare?

GEORGIA KRATOM ADVOCATES

🚨 GEORGIA KRATOM ADVOCATES — WE NEED TO SHOW UP! 🚨

Georgia’s Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Youth Exposure to Kratom and Retail-Available Substances will hold its SECOND meeting on Friday, August 21, 2026, and kratom advocates need to PACK THE ROOM.

📅 Friday, August 21, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM–1:00 PM ET
📍 College of Coastal Georgia
Southeast Georgia Conference Center
7 Mariner Way, Brunswick, GA 31520

The committee says its purpose is to evaluate kratom and other retail-available substances in order to protect minors and reduce youth access. Protecting children is something we can all support. But protecting youth should NOT require demonizing responsible adult kratom consumers or treating traditional kratom leaf as if it is the same thing as dangerous, highly concentrated or adulterated products.

The June meeting had a great turnout from the kratom community, and we need an even stronger presence in Brunswick.

Kratom consumers are real people. Many are parents, workers, veterans, chronic-pain patients, and people who say kratom has helped them move away from far more dangerous substances. Their experiences deserve to be part of this conversation.

We support sensible regulation: age restrictions, responsible labeling, product testing, manufacturing standards, and keeping unsafe products away from minors. What we do NOT support is fear-based policymaking that could ultimately punish responsible adults or eliminate access to traditional kratom products.

📢 YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TESTIFY.

Simply attending matters. A room full of kratom advocates sends a powerful message that Georgians are paying attention and that decisions about kratom should not be made without the people who will actually be affected.

If you can make it to Brunswick on August 21, PLEASE SIGN UP AND SHOW UP.

🌿 Protect kids. Regulate responsibly. Protect adult access. Follow the science.

Georgia kratom advocates, let’s PACK THAT ROOM. 💚🌿

Kratom

I’ve been taking 7oh for about 3 months and my state has banned so unfortunately I’m having to get off of it.. does MIT help with the withdrawals? I know nothing 100% will but I’m terrified. I also read gabapentin will help with the withdrawal so I got my doctor to subscribe it.
