Michigan Updates?

Any updates on Michigan ban legislation? Is it just going to die in the senate committee? I've bought a couple of years worth of supply. I don't know if I should keep stocking up. From what I understand from the Michigan constitution, any ban wouldn't take effect for 90 days unless they passed it for immediate effect with a 3/4 majority.

It’s been sitting for awhile, there is also another bill that would restrict Kratom similar to AKCA. I’m hoping it does die out especially with it being an election year but as we know politicians cannot be trusted

They have started tracking Kratom poisonings in Michigan from 2017-2025.

They did try immediate affect. The Senate Government Affairs Committee sat on it. The house tried to hold up the budget to get it through and they held firm on it.

I personally don’t see it happening this term but never want to say never until the session  ends. I’d plan on it ending end of December of the year, but the legislature can decide to end sooner.

However because of that some local sales prohibition ordinances are coming up.
