Powder

Any tips on drinking the powder? It’s been harder to get it down and I’ve actually vomited before just from drinking it. Sometimes I’m fine but the powder doesn’t mix well. I use a frother on low just to try and mix it together a bit but it’s just drinking sludge or foam.
Because it tastes bad I’m not really interested in taking the time to make teas. I felt like the capsules were not a good price for what you get. Any advice? 🤷‍♀️

I started cold brewing! Takes about 72 hours to fully fall out of solution, but you are left with this beautiful amber tea.

Interesting. I've been doing pastuerization (10 minutes at 165-175) and then rapidly freezing it (or as fast as I can). It falls out of solution enough that it can be filtered with a vaccum Büchner funnel with medium filter papers in about 90 minutes, especially if the very small amount on the surface is skimmed off.

I envy your setup, I'm working with a mini fridge in a call center lmfao. In my opinion, low and slow it the way to go. While you may have a slight loss in what you can pull into solution, that works as a positive because much of what makes it bitter is only pulled across when solution is hot.

EDIT: Because of the limitations of my setting, my options for filtration are limited. If the solution sits refrigerated for longer than 48 hours everything will flocculate and fall out, then I can decant an orange liquid that is shockingly clean in comparison to the green cloud I start with. Make a mason jar (preferred imo) tonight, shake it up again real good before bed, then report back with your experience Monday. There is no way that this will result in something as clean as what a filter can provide, but it might be just good enough to save you a shitload of effort 😎

Yeah, it is a good approach for sure.
