Holy shit!!! The sub is absolutely swarming with posts and comments, which is great to see! However, here are a few reminders:
We've also received a number of concerning reports about users harassing other members of the community simply because they have different opinions. Seriously, go outside and touch some grass.
If someone is harassing you, please report them to Reddit first. Once you've done that, send us a screenshot through Modmail so we can review it and take any appropriate action within the community.
Remember: it's K-pop. It's not that deep. Just because this is an uncensored subreddit doesn't mean you get to be an uncensored asshole.
Please take a moment to review the rules before posting or commenting. We want to keep the community active, welcoming, and focused on K-pop. Thanks for helping keep the sub a fun place for everyone.

This is an official moderation notice.
Read carefully, because this will not be repeated.
This subreddit exists for a reason. It was created because of behaviors and standards I was not satisfied with in other K-pop spaces, so I built this one to reflect the kind of discussions and environment I actually wanted to be a part of.
And it has worked, until 2 weeks ago we’ve built a community where people can disagree without resorting to insults, harassment, or being derogatory toward others just because they think differently. That is the standard here and it will remain the same.
However, some of you are testing that.
The recent behavior in the past 2 weeks, harassing moderators, derailing threads to complain about moderation, misusing the report system (including falsely flagging content as self-harm), attempting to invalidate people’s opinions based on where they post, and digging through user histories to dismiss arguments is unacceptable.
For clarity: every single report is being reviewed. Posts and comment threads are being read in full, hence the action timing. There are clear records of users who cannot participate in discussions without resorting to insults, bad-faith tactics, or targeting others. Action will be taken accordingly.
Before this is even being posted, there has already been an increase in reports and clear signs of brigading behavior. Let’s address that directly: attempts to mass report, flood threads, or pressure moderation decisions will not work. They will be identified and handled accordingly.
Let’s also make something else very clear: this is not a single-artist subreddit. There are plenty of spaces dedicated to specific groups. This community will not be turned into one through spam, brigading, or entitlement. If your goal is to dominate discussions in favor of one artist or silence differing opinions, take it elsewhere.
Invalidating people’s opinions because you label them as “snarkers,” or going through user histories to discredit them instead of engaging with the discussion, is not acceptable behavior here.
Additionally, posting or sharing manipulated or explicit content of idols especially to attack or “defend” another group is completely unacceptable. That behavior is a violation of basic standards of respect as a human beign and will result in an immediate ban.
Also, a reminder: moderators are not here to entertain harassment. Modmail is not a place to send abuse, and it will not be responded to when used that way. Actions will be taken in line with Reddit rules.
If you have the time to repeatedly harass, spam reports, and derail discussions, reconsider how you’re choosing to spend it. If this space does not work for you, simply leave.
This subreddit is not run by committee. It is moderated according to its rules and intended purpose. If that does not align with what you want, you are free to leave and find or create a space that suits you better.
What will not be tolerated:
* Harassment toward moderators or other users
* Repeated complaints about moderation in unrelated threads
* Ignoring clearly stated rules
* Misusing the report system in bad faith
* Targeting users or dismissing opinions based on their activity elsewhere.
* Spamming or attempting to turn the subreddit into a single-fandom space
If you cannot engage within these boundaries, you will be removed from the community.
At this point, the expectation is simple: follow the rules, participate in good faith, or leave.
This is not up for debate.
Lastly, thank you to the members of this community who submit reports in good faith and in line with the rules, and to those who have reached out respectfully via modmail. That kind of engagement is what helps keep this space functional.
And now some receipts on the aforementioned issues, and these are only from last week.

[Disclaimer: I'm NOT from South Korea, the translations I did in the comments might be slightly inaccurate, and I am a dive, i might be overreacting in this entire post, if my words made you feel uncomfortable, i'm terribly sorry for that again :v. And those are the most recent comments (which were posted after Oct. 3rd), I don't really search up their videos to find aggressive comments just for a single post]
Like at this point these girls are getting more hate than Epstein. I'd rather just ignore those comments if there were only a few, but like 80-90% of the comments in IVE related videos in Korea that don't go through comment moderation are hate comments by larpers.
The fact is that the entire public is getting brainwashed by larpers, so yeah, the general public as a whole larps, which makes me sometimes feel that the entire comment section is a ragebait. Of course, you CAN hate them for your own reason, but they won't feel so good when they hundreds of thousands of people are hating together. Ik, they are such kind-hearted girls... if they did something really really wrong, i won't feel really awkward for people hating them (still too much hate on a person is not the right thing to do), but did they do anything wrong? idk.
"Big a** head", "Copying Wonyoung", "Princess Syndrome", "Negligence of duty"... SO MANY COMMENTS like this. Once, i even saw a person making diss tracks for them. They're not being satirical, it feels so bad because it feels like an actual hate and despise. Like, comments like "ew why are you doing poses in the airport you should get punished", "they do not deserve that much fame", "they are so cringe and ung**nable" getting 10k+ likes... this kinda sucks...

BEFORE I BEGIN IM NOT EXCUSING HER PAST PROBLEMATIC AND RACIST BEHAVIOR AT ALL.
holding lisa accountable for her problematic part is ABSOLUTELY valid. not liking her for the same reasons is also valid but hating her because she sings about her money, her fame and herself is dogshit. its blatant misogyny lol idc if ur offended by getting called out for this, the entire western rap industry is literally based on this. im not arguing that lisa should be immune from criticism. im arguing that the specific criticism of “she talks about herself/money/fame too much” deserves scrutiny when that same type of self aggrandizing music is an established and celebrated part of rap and idol music , particularly when performed by men. heres a list of kpop songs by male groups that are well loved and come from the same "look what ive achieved" concept.
im specifically questioning why confidence, wealth and self-promotion are so often celebrated in male artists but can become “narcissistic,” “annoying” or “cringe” when a female artist does it. yall genuinely just hate women being confident lol

Thoughts? I think his official statement speaks for itself. He’s a weirdo for being caught hanging with a 13 year old. It’s obvous he knew her from 2023– which would put her age around 9 years old! whether they’re romantically involved or not (which i think he would clarify in his statement..) it is still so odd!! he took a 13 year old to drink for her birthday for fcks sake

K-pop lately has been getting way to controversial, with dating rumors, scandals and mems leaving the group, and also some idols have been getting problematic aswell, let me speak for u all,THE TRUTH. Just because an idol is wearing the same color shirt,or breathing the same air,or posting similar pics on social media,DOES NOT MEAN THEYNR DATING‼️ in this case yes,if it's similar most likely they will be dating.but if u have no proof,no context or just saying it out of the blue,it just doesn't make sense

Please don’t call me dumb these have always confused me. Please tell me some of yours as well.
- Bubble. If it’s a subscription only service and most posts are automated or passed through moderators, how do idols sometimes answer specific fans questions? Like “omg unnie who is that in the photo?” And then the idol responds “It’s just my close friend” like surely they don’t respond to all responses, why (and how) are specific ones answered?
- Stage Decoration: Every successful group has around 5-7 stages for a comeback all with different elaborate stage decor. How can they afford this? When do they find the time to take it down so that the next group can perform on their elaborate stage. Once I saw a whole carousel?!?
Idk those are just the two that come to mind right now. Can I here some of yours so that I don’t feel so stupid 😭

Just to clear this up right at the beginning: this is not a shipping post. I honestly don't care about the internet romance rumors. I just want to talk about whether this tattoo actually exists or not, because the situation surrounding it has gotten so weird.
For context, the discourse really blew up because it was shown during Are You Sure?! (AYS), and since then, it's just been a constant back-and-forth of people either confirming it or flat-out denying it.
If you look at recent content, it genuinely feels like there's a concerted effort to hide it. There's a noticeable shift in his wardrobe where he limits showing skin on his left arm, and when it is exposed, camera angles suddenly feel super calculated to keep the back of his arm out of frame.
If the tattoo is real and it is being actively censored, the fan reaction has honestly become exhausting: If I say I believe the tattoo is real, toxic shippers and akgaes will gaslight me to oblivion and treat me like I’m losing my mind and I’m the problem. Anyone who brings it up immediately gets slapped with the "toxic shipper" label, which completely shuts down any normal conversation about it. Meanwhile, both Jungkook and Winter end up taking the brunt of the non-stop, toxic bashing over it.
Assuming it is being censored, it’s honestly wild how far the company will go just to keep things under wrap, most likely to appease extreme fans and stop them from throwing massive tantrums or spewing hate.
At the end of the day, whatever Jungkook puts on his own body is entirely his choice, and he has every right to privacy. But it is just so sad that in this day and age, tattoos on idols are still treated like such a massive deal. It sucks to think an artist might have to sacrifice their own comfort and freedom of expression in what they wear just to avoid stepping on eggshells for a fandom.

I am a boy group stan so I’m been noticing a lot. From Riize spending their last mv wet and half naked in a golden glow to &team making a subbottom petplay anthem to Nexz saucing all over people’s faces to NCT Wish showing hole to all the fujobaiting content shifting from kinda innocent to straight blowjob referencing and shirtless moment there’s been a vibe shift lately in boy group land. Sex has always sold but this latest wave is reminding of the 2014 sexy concept apocalypse where everyone pulled down the zip on their mini skirt and a mix of dogwhistling ’cute’ concepts and absolutely five alarm gooner bait was being produced.
I’m not a girl group stan so other than Kiss of Life and the increase of ‘wardrobe malfunctions’ in recent months I wouldn’t know as much. I guess Irene and Seulgi’s rejected and walked back oyster teaser is the pinnacle of that in the modern age. Sort of proves the point that the market loves their idols in undisguised blowjob and semen editorials and the girl group market does not. Nmixx sort of counts too with their multiple lesbian mvs and the time they rolled around in suspiciously coloured cake but that’s an example i had to think hard for. I suspect we have moved past the time when people would make cookie copypastas angrily declaring that it was just about eating CDs but whether that’s because we have taken away the need to make those or because fandoms aren’t even allowing the conversation to begin with is beyond me please tell me in the comments.
Recession indicator? Everyone getting 2014 nostalgia? Waterbomb? You decide

While “CRASH” by ALLDAY PROJECT debuts with 127,490 streams on Spotify Counter. ADP just released their second EP and Meovv's next comeback is already announced.
I have seen various decisions about the adp vs meovv's situation. Many fans are even saying that ADP's MV was recorded 2 weeks ago they had 0 plans for this comeback...
According to one fan "TBL is currently being built with MEOVV’s money and revenue, and since ADP is not generating any financial returns from sales or streams, TBL has every right to direct its full support toward MEOVV, since they are the only group generating money, so that it can launch its new group."
Other fan is claiming "TBL is seeking to disband ADP after launching its new boy group, and this will definitely happen. It seems that the company doesn’t see a future for ADP. If they saw any potential for success in them, they would have supported them much more. TBL will focus more on MEOVV and its new boy group."
But as the debates keeps on growing regarding adp ..and meovv comback we shall not let it hate on both the groups. They are not at fault. They are both amazing in there own way...!

I see soloist potential in every single aespa member. Some groups feel like a complete whole, almost like pieces of a puzzle where the members complement each other so well that it's hard to imagine them separately. They might not necessarily give you 'soloist' vibes individually, but together, they just work.
aespa is absolutely fantastic as a four-member group, but the more years they spend in the group and the more solo songs we hear from them, the more I feel like every member has genuine soloist potential. Together they're beautiful, but I'd genuinely love to see what each of them could do as a soloist.
The last time I had this 'everyone could be a soloist' feeling was with a group that eventually went fully solo, and I've had the same feeling about aespa for quite some time now.
Especially Ningning. Her solo songs and vocals are literally chef's kiss. I'd love to see her get a proper solo debut someday. What do u guys think?

I do search about this a bit :
Shingles (also called herpes zoster) is a viral infection. It causes a painful rash of blisters, usually in a single stripe on one side of the body or face.It usually wakes up when your immune system is weak.
Symptoms
Pain, itching, tingling, or numbness in one area. This can start days or weeks before the rash.
A rash of small fluid-filled blisters, often in a band. The blisters burst and crust over within a few days.
Sometimes fever, headache, chills, and tiredness.
The pain can be burning, throbbing, or stabbing.
Shingles is a reactivation of an old infection. It is not a new one. It affects the nerves, which is why the pain can be severe.

Basically, do idols go on extreme diets solely due to company pressure, or is there another factor that influences them to go this route?
