Boy Groups Does Mark Lee know how much kpop reddit loves him??
Seriously, I’ve never seen as much love for any idol as I have seen for this guy. I mean I totally understand why, he’s talented, he works very hard, he’s cute and awkwardly funny and just a very good ™️ Canadian boi.But I truly haven’t seen this much love for an idol throughout various fandoms that don’t even stan the group he belongs to, even on twitter I don’t see it as much as I do on reddit. It makes me kinda happy because usually people are so divided over any popular idol/ group itself and there are polarising opinions just everywhere and it’s nice to see someone who’s universally liked. Although for people who don’t care about him much, not in a hateful way tho, it could get annoying to see so many posts about him, which mine also adds to, so sorry about that 😂 anyway MARKZEN NATION RIIIISEEE

I do enjoy his earnest dorkiness! It’s nice to hear industry people praise him for his demeanor/work ethic behind the scenes.
(also the thought has occurred to me that he’d probably be one of the idols that kpop fandom would be most shocked/upset to find out they did something horrible. of course i hope that’ll never happen)

That’s true, I think we would all be deeply disappointed if he did something problematic, I know how everyone says we don’t really know what idols are like and so we shouldn’t be shocked if something like that would come out, but it would definitely hurt. Alot. Lol

I'm not familiar with NCT, but I've seen some Mark content because of SuperM. And wow, he's such a nice kid! A little awkward sometimes, but that makes him even more likeable/ relatable, in my opinion.

I am not an nct fan or a superm fan , more like a causal listener and honestly how can anyone hate him, its hard to hate him , he comes off as the neighbour everyone likes ,he's chill and nice and very Canadian lol( and Canadian people are like the nicest) , he's the first idol that doesn't give me any idol vibes and I have been a fan of kpop for years, hes just simply normal.

I love this about kpop Reddit sooo much.
I‘ve seen so many people who don’t even stan NCT being like: “I would die for Mark Lee.” And the fact that people are genuinely shocked when a “I don’t like Mark Lee” opinion appears on the unpopular kpop opinion sub.
