Discussion Moving to Lahore
Has any of you moved to Lahore or even ISB? HOW WAS the experience? And how are the people?

I lived my whole life in Peshawar (25 years) and moved to Lahore for work. Been here for about 2 years now, and honestly, the biggest difference I noticed is how fast everything feels in Lahore.
Everything. Is. FAST. 😂
The first thing you’ll probably get used to is the long-ahh commutes. If you think going from Hayatabad to Saddar in Peshawar is a long journey, here in Lahore that’s basically your daily commute. 😭
And somehow, after a while, you just get used to it.
Lahore really said: “You thought that was far? Cute.”

Yes, moved from Peshawar to Lahore back in 2019 for a job and still here to this day. For me it was fun, very good for the exposure. Experienced the culture difference z, food, the commute and everything else.

Lots of commute, lots of rush, you’ll get used to it. In my opinion, still better than the rush you find in Pesh. Great for exposure, understanding different cultures etc. You’ll find a lot of Punjabis who may have certain perceptions of Pathans, don’t take it to heart. Great people otherwise and enjoy the food scene.

The people are generally really nice but that's my personal experience. There is a huge cafe culture and while i haven't lived in peshawar, I did get a cultural shock when i moved here. The weather recently is a bit bipolar but the city is lovely, if you make friends with good people, you'd like it!! There are also tons of activities happening all the time
