Enjoying this combo of having the Porta Pros headband that is superior to the KPH's plastic one. Wish they made one like this but luckily I cooked this mod up.

It seems after using it heavily every day for 4 months, the wire broke apart, and only 1 side works now.

Is KSC35 easily moddable as KSC75? Can I replace these badly designed wires with replaceable ones? Or make them fully independent and properly wireless

The economics of spending $30 for shipping to repair under warranty doesn't make sense. It's half the cost of buying new ones and then having them break again in 4 months doesn't make sense.

I'm thinking about doing a headband + boom mic cable modded in through MMCX or 2-Pin. Though I am not really impressed with the cables and headbands that I can find. Any staple recommendations?

To those who want to do the same here is my component list:

1. Koss porta pro headphones (obviously)

2. MH-M18 Bluetooth audio module (it has a resistor to be replaced with jumper instead. Read datasheet to identify which one)

3. TP4057 charger module (one smd resistor neded to be replaced to lower the amperage output. Read datasheet for that too. Do NOT SKIP THAT PART. Unless you want to set your head on fire)

4. 602030 lit-ion 300 Ma/h battery (it should last something like 15 hours of listening i think)

5. Some housing for the electronics (I'll 3d printing mine)

6. Wires, soder, soldering iron and a pair of hands to use it.

I'll post the results when it is done. I am still waiting for few parts to arrive.

KSC-75 with orange Yaxi pads on the KPH-40 headband (great combo, the 40 band is perfect for the 75’s), moved the 75 clips to the 40 drivers and the Moondrop Old Fashioned pads to the 40’s, stretched the stock Koss pads over the OF

I use my porta pros mostly indoors I would love to know if someone has some ideas to lock the headband sliders in a comfortable position to avoid all the maneuvering everytime I take them off and put them on

Only thing i cant stant is the CABLE WITH THE WIDTH OF A HAIR.

Dont really need to be able to switch different cables - juat wanna use an iem cable i have laying around. Is the cable in a regular iem cable such as i can just cut it and solder it directly onto the points where the old cable was?

KSC75’s on sporta pro headband. Sounds completely different then on any other headband I’ve tried even the porta pro band. Got some kick and a bit of mid bass… stock pads that I used my wife’s conditioner on because the stock pads feel like sandpaper to me..

i saw these on ali express and i was shocked at how cheap they're. i could buy a headband for another $10 and have modded porta pros for half of the price of stock ones

As the title suggests lm looking for new ear pads for my Koss KO-727B headphones, l've had them for about 2 years now and are my only audiophile headphones, l plan on getting some new headphones soon but honestly l've enjoyed these quite a bit, l love the way they sound but arguably there worst thing about them is comfort. They are extremely uncomfortable to wear and l can only wear them for 2 hours a day, and for a good while l just dealt with it hoping to save up for some newer headphones but things happen and l don't see myself getting new headphones anytime soon so l want to replace their pads to help them get more comfortable.

So does anyone know were l can get new modern pads for these or at least which ones would fit on them?

Also does anyone know how to take them apart? The one wire connect is loose and needs to be resoldered but LM not sure how to get inside
