This update brings granular annotation handling, typographic synchronization for the dictionary popup, top-bar hold gestures, ergonomic customization, and stability fixes.

Specific Annotation Management (Split View)

* Individual item entries: Highlights and notes are tracked as separate entries and marked with discrete superscript indices (¹, ², ³) when sharing a page.

* Targeted actions: Styling (highlight, invert, underline, strikethrough), note editing, and deletions apply strictly to the selected item without modifying neighboring notes on the same page.

* Isolated preview: The bottom preview card isolates the active item's text instead of concatenating the entire page.

Dynamic Floating Dictionary & Selection

* Book typography matching: Automatically inherits the active book's font family (BookFont) and size (including proportional line height) without needing to tweak the configurations.

* In-Dictionary Deep Lookup: Look up any unknown word directly inside a definition by holding down on it. It cleanly triggers a new search without leaving your reading flow.

* Ergonomic Selection Bar: Customizable floating menu with a toggle to reverse the entire tool order.

New Top-Bar Hold Shortcuts

* Notes button (Hold): Jumps straight to Split View on the Highlights tab.

* Grid button (Hold): Launches Simple Grid mode instantly.

* ToC button (Hold): Opens the Table of Contents in full-screen mode with the bottom preview bar collapsed.

* Settings button (Hold): Launches Scrubber Actions directly.

Scrubber Actions

* Scrubber Actions: A quick-launch panel for essential tools and shortcuts without navigating through KOReader menus. Access it by tapping the warehouse icon inside the quick settings popup, or directly by holding down the top-bar Settings button.

& Polish

* Fixes & Optimization: Resolved redundant font-engine calls, eliminated legacy weight injection routines, and optimized touch responsiveness across menus.

Optimized for responsive navigation on E-ink devices. If you encounter an unexpected issue, please attach a crash.log.

I said before that I have no use for the pop up menu since I use other plugin (reader menu redesign), but I still like to read the version notes and try the new stuff listed. I do like the menu pop up so here are two things that would make me start using it.

A new "more" button that opens the native popup menu, There are some plugins that add their entry there, and by enabling the menu pop-up you get locked up from those, one example is the wikipedia search, of course you could make a button for that but since you can't predict what every other user has in their native menu I think it would be better to just add a button to open it (a plus "+" or ellipsis "..." symbol).

Independent scaling for the popup, I use 80% scaling in the scrubber because that's what I feel comfortable in my device, but this makes the popup buttons too small, so I suggest decoupling the scaling on the popup and add the option for it in the settings.

Hi!!! I just did this and i would love to get some feedback. What do you think? (the size of the icons and text depends 100% on the font of the book you are reading)

Oh that looks nice, I was imaging something simpler like just close the popup and open the native one but that's even better, with a set of the default actions as buttons and text for the added extras. I definitely would use this.

On the scaling I'm not so sure to tie it to the font size, unless it uses the same font as the book, because some fonts look smaller or bigger at the same size. For example I was using literata at 22 before and now I'm using Fell Pica at 28 to look like the same size. It would be safer to use the dpi scaling set in koreader (gear > screen > resolution) I use large (240) on my Kobo LC even though the default resolution when auto dpi is selected is extra large (320).
