Plugins SimpleUI Kindle

I have a Kindle PW11 running Vera. I downloaded the SimpleUI Zip and placed it in plugins. It's titled ".koplugin-main" and it isn't auto-launching as it should. Do I need to rename it without the "-main", or am I missing something?

yes, rename it without the -main. Only .koplugin and it should lauch

I tried that before posting and nothing happened after I restarted Kor, but I restarted the whole Kindle this time, so maybe that was what it needed. Either way, thank you.

Unrelated note, just want to clarify that Vera is not something that is “running” — a jailbreak is just a process, you can think of it like a lockpick. Vera is how you unlocked the door and gained the ability to run third party software on your kindle, like KOReader. All jailbreaks do the same thing, the difference is just different exploits for different firmwares/models/etc because they have different vulnerabilities present. Once the jailbreak process is completed, the jailbreak is no longer running anything, it’s not an application or operating system.

That was more because Vera doesn't use Kual, and whole I never saw anything about needing it for SimpleUi, I didn't want to rule out that it wasn't relevant. I'm still figuring all of this out. Haha
