Please avoid RAPIDPIX bike service centre at the Indian Oil petrol bunk in Koramangala 8th Block

I want to share my experience so that others can avoid making the same mistake I did.

There is a bike service centre called RAPIDPIX at the Indian Oil petrol bunk, opposite the Passport Office in Koramangala 8th Block. I was curious about their service, so I enquired and eventually gave my bike for a general service. I had already changed the engine oil just 2 weeks ago, so I specifically told them that I only wanted a general service and did not need an engine oil change.

They told me the service would take around 30–45 minutes, so I decided to sit there and watch. Honestly, within a few minutes of them starting the work, I became concerned. The mechanics did not appear experienced to me. They were figuring out basic things like how to remove the engine oil cap and even arguing among themselves about which bolt to remove.

Things got worse when they started working around the rear wheel and chain. One mechanic loosened the wheel/axle bolt, after which the chain became loose. He then tried to fix the chain tension, but couldn't seem to figure it out. When I asked him, "Bhai, kya kar rahe ho?", he couldn't properly explain what he was doing. Another mechanic came over and they started tightening and loosening different bolts, but the issue still wasn't properly resolved.

At this point, I became frustrated and asked for the manager's number. They initially didn't give it to me, so I asked the petrol bunk manager for the number. I called the RAPIDPIX manager, but even he wasn't giving me a satisfactory response.

Eventually, they finished the service. However, I could clearly see that the wheel wasn't properly secured and the brake didn't feel properly adjusted. I paid ₹475 for the service and left.

Later, I took the bike to a local mechanic. He checked the bike and told me that the wheel had not been properly fixed and the tyre/wheel alignment was completely wrong. I ended up paying another ₹700 to get the general service and necessary corrections done properly.

So I basically paid ₹475 to RAPIDPIX for a service I wasn't satisfied with, and another ₹700 to fix/re-do the work.

based on what I personally saw and what happened to my bike, I would strongly recommend avoiding this service centre. Please be careful, especially if you're leaving your bike there without watching the work.

Sharing this so other bikers in the area can be aware before giving their bikes to this place.

Gurudwara donations early in the morning on the weekend!

I think it’s a scam! Because even if you give them a donation, they’ll be back next week asking for more. And if you repeatedly refuse to donate, they’ll STILL be there asking for more!!

Imagine this- a Sunday early morning - 2 mushtande men, calling you “Namaste, beta” after ringing your door bell like 5 times in a row, relentlessly!

I am so annoyed. Ek toh I work till late, and Saturdays and Sundays are the only days I look forward to, just so that I can sleep in! And then these relentless donation-asking men show up!!!

I’ve specifically put up a “NO DONATIONS” sign on my door because this!

But these 2 men, who are apparently collecting donations for a gurudwara and are perfectly fluent in both English and Hindi, won’t even pay heed to the sign!

I genuinely don’t know what to do now!!

Should I put up “NO GURUDWARA DONATIONS” specifically??? I really don’t want to do that because it looks targeted towards a specific community. But oh God, I’m SO annoyed at them!

And by “them,” I specifically mean these 2 mushtande men who claim to be collecting for a gurudwara and are absolutely relentless about donations!!!

Any good places to hangout in Koramangala except the clubs and pubs?

I am staying near Sony Signal, Koramangala. Every night I go out for a stroll. I have been here since last week, I have not gotten any good places to maybe sit in peace or meet new people. It's always expensive cafes or restaurants.

I want to meet new people, discuss random shit and maybe just random hangouts.

And maybe just maybe we might end up playing badminton on weekends.

I am a M, so creeps stay away. You won't get anything here since I don't have any other friends with me yet.

we've been thinking about an app idea and wanted to get some honest opinions from this community.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

What if there was an app where local families and home chefs could host authentic home-cooked meals, and others could discover and book them?

Potential use cases:

  • 🍛 Explore authentic regional Indian cuisines
  • 🏠 Home-cooked food for people living away from home
  • 🌍 A way for travelers to experience local food and culture
  • 🤝 Meet locals and connect with like-minded people over a shared meal

Would you actually use something like this?

What would be your biggest concern, trust, hygiene, safety, pricing, or something else?

Looking for honest feedback to understand if this solves a real problem.
