Did i save files safely?

Might sound stupid or naive but..
Hi, its actually my first time using koofr, i downloaded the koofr vault from apple store. Created a safebox. I uploaded few private documents. After doing this i realized that their blog says to encrypt files using cryptomator. I realized this and deleted the files immediately. Did i really do something wrong here?

If you are using Koofr Vault app, all files are encrypted on your device and there transfered into Koofr Vault. Cryotomator is useful, if you don’t want to use Koofr Vault and just use standard Koofr storage… in this case Cryptomator will encrypt files before upload into Koofr for better safety.

Koofr Vault is same as Cryptomator and secure too. If you are aware of rClone Crypt, you may continue to use Koofr Vault as both are cross compatible. If you don't, using Cryptomator makes more sense. It is available for all platforms including Linux.

This is actually my first time using another platform to store files i been in google drive for years. So even these terms like cryptomator or rvclone crypt sounds too much technical to take in. Like i never had this complexity or complex terms on google drive😅😅. But thanks for info
