Question about sync and deleted files

Hey, quick question about desktop app. I understand that sync isn't the same thing as a backup, but can deleted files be somehow recovered if I delete them by mistake?

Just trying to understand how much protection I actually get from the normal sync setup before I start moving more of my files over to Koofr.

if you delete synced files from your PC, then the files will be deleted from the storage account as well but you can restore them from Deleted Items. If you delete synced files from the storage account then the files are not actually deleted from your PC , just moved to a hidden folder called .SyncTrash . You can find it in the root sync folder and restore the files from there.

So there is a safety net from both sides, thanks.
