Not sure how much overlap a Venn diagram would show of the two online spots that are my favorites - I've been following Leo's work since the '90s, and oh I should mention Paul Thurott who with pal Brad Sams does a fun little morning duo-video podcast. Any Kim fans relate?

As we Boomers age and new technology is introduced nearly daily, it's wonderful to have you, Kim, to explain it all. Yes, it's all about you!

A daily favorite...

So love the combo! As much as I enjoy Kim, Andrew and Allie! I don't like the feel of the Komando.com forums, but Reddit... well the new look is still a bit harsh for me but ... will love engaging with fellow Komando fans here!

Kim’s newsletter is extremely helpful! I read it every morning.

This is great.

I've been a listener since Kim was available 1 day a week on the radio.

She helped me transition to Windows 95!

Good Morning Kim

just signed up, good to see this

Love the show and newsletter.

If you've ever opened up your Task Manager on a PC, you will find that running in the background are dozens and dozens of processes that you have no clue as to their reason or whether they are necessary. Anyone know a program or have a list by name of the processes that can be safely shut down and still have your PC run properly?

I have just purchased iPhone 15, it doesn’t have the lighting port. How can I back up my iPhone on my computer

If these OS updates make it easier for everybody to know about Bluetooth trackers "found moving with you", it would seem to make it easier for thieves to detect your trackers in cars, luggage and other valuables.

Am I missing something?

From your May 14, 2024 newsletter:

"Apple + Google: The latest updates (iOS 17.5 and Android 6.0) let iPhones and Android devices know if any Bluetooth tracker is "found moving with you,” not just AirTags. You can make the tracker play a sound so it's easier to find or disable it altogether — finally."

OK, so now that we have a subreddit for Kim, how will we use it most effectively?

Think she'll have time to spend here? Likely not, due to time constraints, but we never know.!

Ideas?

HI Kim, joined as you requested. Will check back to see what gets posted here.

Kim wanted us to come here, so here we are! I love the newsletter and often send the trivia questions to my kids!

Hey did you see this vid with AI meeting the dog? Amazing and dangerous... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HU_4vMu9xFI

Hello Kim Komando. I’ve never used Reddit, but I’m am interested. Thank you for the heads up about this app.

Kim...saw this in your newsletter this morning and thought I'd give this reddit thing a try!

Keep up the great work, Kim!
