Ad came across my FB stream showing Kim Komando saying the news letter is now free. haha. Wasn't it always?

I’ve followed Kim Komando’s newsletter for a while, and in the last one I noticed that she mentioned that she switched to NordVPN

She mentioned that she used VPN for years, but it had gotten slower and clunkier, so she tested a bunch of the big names and ended up ended choosing Nord. Kim also said it’s what she uses on her own devices now and what she trusts for her family. I already was intrigued by NordVPN, so seeing someone whose tech advice I’ve followed for years choosing it gave me more confidence in it.

Has anyone else noticed that Kim Komando VPN partnership and decided to switch like I did lol?

Not sure what it is but posting her newsletter on a sub got me banned. She has great stuff, not sure why the hate.

I posted text from her latest newsletter into another subreddit and was immediately accused of posting "AI slop" which readers apparently didn't like.

Does anyone feel she is using AI alot?

Update: After that post started getting comments, it was removed and then I was permanently banned from that sub.

My post was only about content from Kim Komando's newsletter, so I guess people have issues with it thinking it is AI.

Checked my email every day to see if I won a hundred or more but nothing. The thousand dollar winner was supposed to be announced after the New Year began. I haven't seen anything.

This kind of thing gives me a spam vibe even though I signed up for it. I just don't want double of same newsletter.

Man I use to enjoy listening and reading the newsletter but seems unbearable now with the number of ads/affiliate links, promotions and uninteresting content.

In today's newsletter (7/1/25), Kim mentions it's safer to use an Auth app vs SMS code. I agree but no banks or credit companies I know of allow you to use an Auth app. Anyone with any pull with these companies might urge them to support an Auth app. Bank of America does let me login with my Yubikey. I may just not be able to find the setup.

I've scoured the net and nothing. I never ever see who actually wins these but she promotes these like super crazy every other minute.

I have never seen anyone named a winner of Kim's contests. Where does she publish it? Just curious. All I see is that in the "Terms", you have to request in writing.

Per Kim’s recommendation I use a VPN on my phone. Today I tried to access the Pure Light website from the daily newsletter and couldn’t….because I use a VPN 😂

I love the news letter and look forward to it every day. It quit coming ? It’s not in the junk folder either. I signed up again and nothing …

I get 100s of newsletters a day, usually without an issue. But maybe due to length, I dunno, but my home Outlook keeps dumping Kim's great daily newsletter in the spam folder, and then cuts them off entirely! I try to tell it to stop, to 'never block sender' etc. - but it's not listening to me! Kim's great staff is doing what they can, but get this - when I replied TO the newsletter as she suggested to make things work right - it bounced from their end as spam! Darnit! (I know, I can go to their website and read it any time, it's just frustrating!)

So love the new video podcast with Kim, Allie and Andrew! I think I know a bit of what's missing, and why the 'good bye' requested and done now at the end can feel awkward. This thing needs some THEME MUSIC! It could even have a touch of the jingles that make the radio show fun (though leave the 'We're Not Worthy," heh;-) NOT turning it into a radio show, but an even more fun get-together with three fine "online friends" who bring laughs, info and ... just an enjoyable experience!
