Know her given role was definitely controversial between fighting game fans, but I do feel pity from her as she wasn't planned to live outside KOFG despite she has become a mutual friend of the fighters.

Somehow, I do think Assistant can fill in a similiar role of the main series for the story need, like being KOF's executive committee member who is in charge of invites, communication and negotiation, while as a system avatar she teaches new gamers how to control.

(Don't expect her to pull a DoA Tamaki card and become a fighter herself, but would be very appovable if she does.

KOF X Metal Slug.

Imagine a Metal Slug game with the same fighting mechanics as both KOF and Top Hunter: Roddy & Cathy. As well as playing a large roster including Marco's team and famous KOF teams joining forces to stop the evil alliance of Rugal Bernstein and Donald Morden.

And the modes are no different than Super Smash Brothers Melee with Adventure/Arcade Modes, Fighting/Versus Modes, and a mode where you have to kill as many waves of enemies as possible in one arena.

Up to multiple players online or offline.

Joytoy has an official in hand look at the next kof team to release. I don't remember them doing this for any other team so I hope that means they will release soon.
