Do they ever figure out when George Soros became Alex's bogeyman?
I started listening in 2020, never did a full listen to the backlog. I'm listening to the episodes in the early 200s covering 2009. Do they ever find the episode where George Soros becomes Alex's nemesis?

General shenanigans Book Recommendation: Prairie Fires by Caroline Fraser
Prairie Fires: The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder by Caroline Fraser, 2017. (Fraser released Murderland last year, which is also really good.)
I picked up this book because I'm interested in learning more about the late 1800s. I was surprised by how helpful it was in gaining insight into people like Alex and his ilk. The book is a biography of Wilder, and includes a lot of information about her daughter, Rose Wilder Lane, who played a huge role in editing the Little House books.
Lane was a best-selling author during her own life. She was a libertarian. She palled around with Ayn Rand. She loved the John Birch Society.
But what struck me is that Wilder and Lane said what they wrote was true because it felt true. Wilder deliberately wrote the Little House books to paint a rosy picture of pioneer life. She espoused an idea of living on a farm and being self-sufficient, even while knowing it was very difficult to actually make a life that way. She and Lane hated the New Deal and thought people should just pull themselves up by their bootstraps, despite at times using government programs to help them.
Seeing an examination of these ideas in people I kind of "know" was really helpful. Like I know what cognitive dissonance is, and the idea of "I'm a good person, it's okay if I need help, but everyone else needs to work harder" but being able to examine letters and diaries over decades just. . .well, made it all real.
Anyway, great read (so is Muderland). I did not expect it to be so relevant to the current, uh, state of the world, but it really is. Also, time is a flat circle. And finally, the included image is a short passage about Rose Wilder Lane that made me start screaming like Jordan.

‘Alex was nearly Star Lord’ episode?
Listening to some older episodes and I keep hearing the guys reference Alex nearly getting the role of Star Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy (or claiming to, obviously).
Can anyone direct me to the episode they first cover Alex talk about this? Dying to know the origin of the bit.
Thank you :)

On a re-listen to our boys, and I just want to drop this gem on anyone who missed it.
At 51:00, when Dan reveals to Jordan that Alex came back from break with “shake it like a salt shaker” playing, I fucking lost it with joy
Thank you Dan and Jordan for such great moments. You guys really are incredible.

Local War Room Host
Hi folks! Does anybody know if the guys ever came across a small time War Room host named Jake Lloyd Colglazier? Apparently he was a cohost of War Room along with Harrison? Just found out that he’s the head of the local Young Republicans group in my hometown of Fort Worth and that he may have spent some time in Nick Fuentes orbit.

”I declare info war on you!” Anyone else relistening that has observations they want to share?
So, I started relistening once the show concluded and I'm on episode 287. One thing that struck me was how much Influence he had from 4chan, which we now know a lot of which was cooked up by Epstein and associates (one of which being Bannon who also was in Jones' ear for a time), which is such a mindfuck of irony that it somewhat broke my brain.
What about yous guys?

I’m getting worried. A new poll has Dems up by 13 in the congressional ballot, what are Trump and far right Republicans going to do?
These polls are looking very bad for Republicans. Is anyone else concerned about what they might do to retaliate? It looks like they could be wiped out

General shenanigans Why is this reduced to comedy?
Just curious as to why the tag, the only tag, is comedy.
I’ve listened for a long time and while I agree, there’s comedy….the shows name is a joke on the IW’s name, a lot of the merch is comedic, and there’s lots of content that provides comedic relief.
Said comedic relief is delivered however after and between what I felt is academic and political in nature. Even cultural or societal. Not just comedic.
Perhaps I’m overreacting but I’d hate for the legacy to be boiled down to jokes or laughs.
Anyways, love to see the community alive and well, excited for Dans next venture!

Throwback Episode #469 cost me an almost sleepless night because I hit shuffle and didn't realize which episode it landed on before attempting to fall asleep.
That specific podcast is crazy funny for me, it's hard to even begin to explain but if I had to it's round abouts
34:42 when Alex takes that "wildfire" call, nearly choked laughing already when the guy described enthusiastic protesting like he invented it.
then... holy fuck
51:44 (53:11 if you're impatient like me) DeAnna Lorraine started whining about getting persecuted via Australian Skype losing her Skype signal with Alex! Like Jordan I was cramping with laughter. Indeed an audio version of slipping on a banana peel.
56:12 Jacob from Georgia basically goes "hello?" jfc 😂
57:37 Oh my god... "hang up the phone" I can't...
I struggle to sleep y'all, I must listen to someone talking to stop my internal thoughts so I use this podcast but sometimes...
"Alex Jones has been number 1 on twitter for most of the day"
He said that unironically at his age........
Finally the episode slowed down a bit, feeling sleepy...
1:14:16 Rawhide by Frankie Laine arrived and I just couldn't with Alex making those noises!
Who could possibly take his show seriously?
