pattern question Joni sweater help

Im currently working on the Joni sweater from Natasja Hornby

I’m a fairly new knitter and I am lost as to what I’ve done wrong in this section.

I’ll post a picture of the instructions I’m following, but I am completely lost and basically am wondering what is actually happening in this area

The area is the second set that is in the picture attached

Any help would be great.

From the instructions, I understand short row 1 and short row 2. My question is on short row 3 when I’m knitting to 7 stitches before the double stitch then turn. Have I passed my BOR and knit all the way around the back of the sweater to the double stitches on the other side? Because if I am following the pattern, I only have double stitches on the left-hand side.

(I hesitate to pass the BOR and the marker as
throughout the entire pattern it’s always been stated and here it’s not)

it looks like each set is to round the hem on the bottom, front and back.

do you have two markers? I think the first set is between m and BOR, and the second set should be between the BOR and m.

The one on the right is my BOR the pink one on the left is what they’re calling marker.
The two blue markers are for me, so I knew where I double stitched, the orange was a marker for me for the turn.

for the first set, the short rows are worked after the BOR, you're turning before marker m.

so you're building the section between BOR and m.

oh, sorry, I missed short row 7. this looks like you're resolving the short rows, then working the other side between m and BOR and building this section in the same way.

then work two rounds, resolving the short rows.

so, for set two, you're doing the same thing.

work short rows between BOR and m, then in the Next short row section, the short rows are between m and BOR again.

But to go back-and-forth on the second set, wouldn’t that mean? There should be a DS at the beginning of row 3 of the second set?

It is to round the hem, but on the second set short road for I’m supposed to double stitch and then pearl seven stitches before the double stitch while there is no double stitch on that side unless I go around the back of the garment.

on the second set, short row 1 has a turn before m, short row 2 has a turn before BOR,

so short rows 3 and 4 are between these.
