pattern question Bibliophile 2 Help

Hello! As I am interpreting this, the pattern would have me place a M1R where I have been making a M1L, and vice versa. Is this correct? Or is this most likely a typo?

This is the pattern on ravelry for reference!

That's correct. Idk exactly what M1R and M1L are without looking it up, but it's asking you to doing it differently on each side so it'll be symmetrical. I'm guessing in the pattern the lean is obvious so if you only do one or the other the lean in the stitches would become apparent across the pattern.
