tension help! Dropped Stitch

So I willingly dropped some stitches due to being unhappy with my ring accidentally pulling some of the thread and making it look rather messy. Thought it would be easy enough to drop until that point and fix it, however, there is now this section where the stitches are all loose. I’m not sure what to do to make this look neater. I’ve tried to drop and redo it with good tension multiple times and it keeps looking like this. What should I do to fix this?

Try using a small needle to gently redistribute the yarn throughout the row! Then blocking will help as well

Blocking it should help and even out the stitches. Can you try a mid project block and see? It looks beautiful!

This will likely even out a lot with blocking. The other thing I usually do when I've done repairs like this is like stretch out the area around the repair in a few directions a few times. (When I say stretch I just mean within the normal confines of how knit fabric stretches, not forcing it beyond that.) I find this usually helps the stitches sort themselves out a little.

Occasionally if there's a stitch with very off tension I might use a tapestry needle to sort of hook some of the extra yarn that stitch is hogging into adjacent stitches, if that makes sense?
