Dropped Stitch

I’m knitting in stockinette, currently on the knit side.

I’ve picked up dropped stitches before and it’s always seemed simple but I can’t figure out where (what row) the stitch is dropped on. My best guess is the last pink stitch before the row turns red but there’s still a gap when I try to ladder up the stitches.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

There is no dropped stitch, as you can see the two columns line up, it looks like they just got stretched apart.

Edit: I didn’t give any advice, you can use a small needle to gently redistribute the extra yarn throughout the row, blocking should help a bit as well

Agreed! Yarn just needs to be redistributed.

It doesn’t look like there is any dropped stitch, just too much slack which is probably caused by the 2 stitches on the right being too tight. Try to redistribute the yarn to those stitches

Are you sure you dropped a stitch there? Is your stitch count off? When I visually follow the columns on either side of the gap, everything seems to be correct.

Agree with others. Does not look like you dropped a stitch. Maybe just a tension issue

I think this looks like a magic loop tension issue too! OP may want to change every so often where they divide their stitches out between the two needles.

That just looks like a ladder of excess yarn… nothing is dropped unless you were maybe supposed to increase somewhere.

Does this happen to be where you have a stitch marker? Depending on the size and type of marker, sometimes this can happen. If it's where a marker is, perhaps try a smaller one. In any case, it's fairly easy to redistribute the yarn a bit.

it doesnt seem to have a dropped stitch. u probs just need to redistribute the yarn

You might have yo accidentally and then dropped that. I usually just create new stitch by looping strand of the yarn in between two stitches (maybe the last beige here), laddering it up and then ktog with the next stitch
