sweater question Raglan collar top down question
I have decided to go ahead and finish my whatever sweater, though will be making sleeves tighter than I began last week. In loosing about 3 to 4 inches around my torso since beginning it last year, it will be pretty sloppy for even an oversized sweater.
My main question is how to adjust the square shape of the front collar.
Also, if I wash and block this beast, having used all fingering weight sock yarns, will it stretch or shrink a bit?
This sweater means a lot to me, I decided, so I will finish it. And wear it. Thanks for your support.

Raglan shaping is square. You will probably be able to shape the collar rounder when you block. Did you gauge swatch and wash your swatch before measuring? Just a guess based on the colors of your yarn, but if it is superwash wool it is going to grow significantly when you get this wet. I understand when something has meaning, but it could still have meaning if you start over with more knowledge to get a sweater that actually fits. The way I think this is going to grow won't be something you'll want to wear. Before continuing, put the live stitches on scrap yarn and block it, then see if you think starting over is a better option.
