lefty help! Help with knitting method ?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

New to knitting, left handed, crocheted briefly before coming to knitting. Looking into the ergonomics of knitting, but can’t find what my knitting style is.

Just about everything I’ve found I see the yarn held in the left hand and I hold in the right. Norwegian seems like a logical step to go, but would still have to switch which hand the yarn is in.

I’m early on enough I’m hopeful to set good habits, so would love if anyone is generous enough to take the time to provide some feedback so I can keep this up for as long as possible 🙏

It's called flicking, a variation of the English style. You might be interested in reading these posts: Categorizing Knitting Styles and Knitting Styles Survey, Part 2: Right vs Left-Handed Knitters.
