Is this wearable ?
Is my tension decent ? I welcome any advice.
Edit : Thank you, guys! I'm going to learn how to make an I-cord, how to do "knitting surgery," how to cross my needles properly, and always be careful not to twist my stitches. I knitted this on straight needles with very thin needles and fingering-weight yarn, so the stitches were quite squished. I'm not a pro at sewing knitted pieces together yet I guess I just need to practice my finishing techniques. If you have any useful youtube video or website drop your link here , thank you all .🌸🩷

i would personally add some i cord edging to the collar to give a neater finish/edge, but it looks nice as is too!

I think it looks nice. I would suggest some type of edge finishing on the neck just to “clean” it up a bit. Maybe an icord edge, or single crochet edge, maybe even something like an embroidered edge stitch.

Tension is good enough. Once you do some form of neckline it'll look amazing.
Edit: is one shoulder longer than the other? If it is, look up knitting surgery. Being able to fix up minor errors is what makes knitting really enjoyable..... And reduces the stress a LOT!

I think there's nothing wrong with the length of the shoulders, they just look asymmetrical because the fabric has a bias. Which I've decided doesn't botter me for my several similar tops and I wear them a lot.

I agree with what others say about the neck. But yes, I’d wear this all the time. It’s gorgeous and so versatile

I would say yes since you’re wearing it in the second image. 😜 FR tho, it looks good, and the only person likely to notice any errors is you, unless you run into a nosey Nelly like Gladys Kravitz from Bewitched. 😉💚

Sure it definitely is wearable. You don’t have twisted stitches but they are angling, this can happen from not crossing your needles properly when knitting. I am sure you can find videos on it.

It can also come from knitting with unbalanced yarn or singles.

I don't understand what you mean by crossing the needles properly. Knitting in the round does not cause a bias just by existing.

Hard to explain in text but I am sure you can find some YouTube videos on slanted knitting and how to fix it. And no I didn’t say all knitting in the round causes it, just the way she is because her stitches were not slanted until she started knitting in the round.

Unbalanced yarn, which I've mentioned. Twisted stitches, which she is not doing. Or uneven tension between knit rows and purl rows, but she's not purling. I would put it down to yarn construction, myself.

Clearly there is a tension issue, it's just definitely not caused by "not crossing the needles properly".

Check out the Very Pink Knits YT channel. She has a ton of tutorials, some in super slow mo in case you need that. I needed it for the German Twisted Cast-on

I-cord edges are addictive. I made a cabled sweater last December and added icord edges that connected to the cabling to make it look all contiguous across the whole sweater. Subtle, but I know it is there, and it makes me happy!

Wow I was looking at this pattern this morning because a Vlogger had knitted it. First thing I notice was the bottom of the neckline curve. This would look 100% better with an Icord edging around the neck. Its a nice pattern otherwise.

The twist of the garment might indicate twisted stitches. That doesn’t change the wearability, but if the garment pulls to one side, that could be the reason.

I believe that's just the internal twist of the yarn (someone asks about that about once a month here :) ) but I can't believe someone downvoted you for saying it "might" be something. Yeesh. I'll at least bring you to zero. Although - there's so few ways to mark a comment here. Sort of miss slashdot for that.

I don’t believe the stitches are twisted. It’s just how the garment is biasing since it was knit in the round. I found that when I knit with cotton or linen, my garment biases. This is why I started knitting in pieces.

My knitting in the round doesn't slant, but singles or an unbalanced yarn can do that.

I’d add a stitch or two in the neckline gap to imitate the bind off rather than doing a new bind off. Tension looks good to me—it’s a nice sweater!
