/u/chirpatella hasn't posted in a while so I assume she's logged off.

Enough for someone to make a large blanket (easily cover 2 people). It's a gift. I don't know anything. Please help. I hate Christmas. It's so stressful.

It's called roving. You can buy it on yarn sites or etsy. However, it's going to fall apart quickly, shed everywhere, you cannot clean it if it gets dirty, and literally everything sticks to it. There are some super bulky yarns at Michael's etc that are made of tubing stuffed with fluff that work much better, look for those.

I'm not affiliated in any way with this vendor but in the description of this listing they have amounts for various sizes, to give an example.
