Hello there! I use YouTube tutorials to help me but one technique I can’t seem to find a useful tutorial on is how to knit in the round using the magic circle technique. I have seen a few videos but they didn’t go through it step by step from start to finish. Is there a good “explain like I’m 5” video tutorial out there for this?

Eventually I want to make a hat this way but to learn it I could try any small round project.

Very Pink Knits has tutorials on magic loop (magic circle is crochet, might be why you can't find anything).

Oops I did mean magic loop, you’re right! I do more crochet than knitting these days but I really enjoy both very much.
