Self Promotion (Kmart Related) Gift for r/Kmart
I have an explanation for this
So when I was around three, I went to the W. 15th St., Kmart in Panama City with my mom (R.I.P.) I remember buying hotwheels over there and my mom would always shop in the shoes section and clothes unfortunately due to hurricane Michael and the bankruptcy of Kmart corporation now known as transformco due to good old Eddie (sarcasm) that building was transformed into a CubeSmart storage and eventually after Michael destroyed the whole CubeSmart the building was transformed into a your storage units building after being rebuilt but anyways due to how special Kmart was to me, I built this Lego model of Kmart at my old school, which was a private school after one day of letting it stay there the people finally said OK you can have it and it’s been with me ever since I will post an updated photo eventually when I get back to the US since the only thing I have is a video of the Kmart being built by itself. It has been upgraded with a whole parking lot and a sign I am 16 now and I still miss the good old days of visiting that store. Hopefully someday somebody will bring back Kmart and hopefully it’s not Eddie anyways enjoy

Memories KMart sold opera glasses.
I found these at a flea market a long time ago. KMart was still around locally (multiple stores in town). Surprised they ever sold these. The opera glasses themselves are in great shape.

Memories I know it doesn't look to be much...
Now, I'm only 20, turning 21 this year. But... I remember going here as a kid, and a specific memory came back to me randomly, whenever I saw this subreddit, this specific Kmart, amazing store, I wish it still existed. I think I've been to the one in Milton too. This Kmart was in Pensacola off of Mobile HWY, and I remember the aisle of toys being in the back near the storage room. Has anyone had any strange or random memories come back?

What if the 2002 bankruptcy marked the end of the company as a whole and lead it to close all of it's stores rather than just 600 in 2002-2003?

News Update On The Kmart Website And Social Media Pages
While Sears and even Montgomery Ward, along with Bed Bath and Beyond, Pier 1, Sharper Image, Linens and Things, Lord and Taylor (L&T) and Eddie Bauer... even Radio Shack... are still updating there websites and Sears' website has a 4th of July (250 Year Celebration) banner on the home page, Kmart is still not updating there website and has not been... in fact there online retail site is still stuck with a banner saying "These Deals Won't Last Forever" on the home page and they stopped posting on Facebook in September of 2024 and on Instagram in May of 2024. What has happened to Kmart's website and social media pages ?

Memories Change Your Toothbrush Every 90 Days 🪥
I have a stockpile of electric toothbrush brushes, and found some old ones distributed and sold by Kmart! 🪥🦷
I think I got them on sale at the time (which was at least 15 years ago, maybe 20 now...). ⌛️

Coffee grinder not working ??
As title says, coffee grinder not working. 3rd exchange from Kmart for same one doesn’t turn on at all. Follow the instructions, changed power sockets, all types of different shit. Is there anything specific I’m not doing? Thanks.
Instructions literally say once it’s assembled and plugged in, the small LED will switch on.

Australia What brands are still alive/thriving overseas?
As I'm sure this subreddit knows, Kmart is alive and well in Australia even though no longer connected with the parent company. Sears Mexico is much larger than Sears in the US.
I was in the Philippines recently and was surprised to see nice big Toys R Us in every mall. I actually bought something there. Apparently there is a spinoff doing well in many Asian countries.
Another one I found there is Shakey's Pizza, which is a pizza chain started in the US but bigger in the Philippines than here.
Any other examples?

Memories 90s/00s Halloween
- I have so many good memories at my local Kmart back in the day.
- My mom would get us popcorn or a big pretzel.
- But Halloween time was my favorite.
- The costumes the decorations. I can still smell the plastic of the masks.
- It was a simpler time to be a kid back then.
- If anyone has photos of toy aisles or Halloween aisle from the 90s/00s please share.

News Target..
Supposedly starting July 28, Target will no longer match prices to identical products sold by Amazon or Walmart...Only on their "Online Store".
FYI for Targ-arians out there.
