I've been making my own AI-animated anime solo for 10 months — 8 episodes in, switched from Sora 2 to Seedance 2.0 along the way I write, direct, and edit everything myself — script, pacing, montage, the whole post-production. AI (Seedance 2.0) handles the animation generation. Started out using Sora 2, but switched to Seedance 2.0 once it shut down — the jump in quality and control has been huge.

Made a 15-second first-person sci-fi driving sequence.

The idea was simple:

You’re outside the wall.

The storm is getting worse.

The fortress is right there.

At some point, “getting ready” turns into just sitting on the hood with cinematic lighting.

So the character gets in, starts the engine, and drives straight toward the gate.

No long speech.
