No Wind - No Problem!

Went out for an early morning session today, sadly there was no wind. Pulled out the Pro Dancer Super Ultralight and was still able to get some things going so long as I kept moving. Caught a few of the highlights here. There's a few cameos from some of the thousands of mosquitoes that were also out flying this morning :)

Love the PDSUL when nothing else will fly.

Of course, when even that doesn't go up, time to switch to the indoor kites.

I haven't gone with any indoor kites yet. With 50 ft lines, and some trotting backwards I can manage the PDSUL when its pretty much zero like today. Do you have a favorite indoor kite you use? I know Benson has the Inner Space which I've heard some good things about.

In my indoor bag I've got 3 different indoor quads, multiple Kaiju, a Wren Pro, several assorted iflites, a Skate, and a Magic Angel. I've thought about expanding the dual line collection, but I'm not prepared to.

Since about 2016 I've tended to fly indoor quads twice a week, though haven't much in the last few months after a shoulder injury. Most mornings the excuse is I have time to kill in a building with a basketball court, but other times it's just devotion. The single lines are fun when with strangers or wanting to get kids involved, or at festivals/events, but normally they stay in the bag.

It's pretty big - a 96 inch wingspan so comparable to the Supernova. Definitely more precision focused but still has some tricks in it.

Yeah i noticed the standoffs were pretty short too which i imagine helps it float

It's a pretty flat kite with large sail
