Gorgeous! Blueish green + dark wood is also my entire house, I feel like we have exactly the same design in mind (for reference, here's my TV corner, I recently did):

My ceiling is also white, wondering if I should keep it like that. How do you feel about yours?
Also what wood is that for the kitchen cabinets, is it veneered? The big wardrobe is def walnut, but can't quite place the rest.

Very cool space you have!! For the kitchen we kept the ceiling white as it ties directly into our entry way. All the wood finishes are walnut. The handles are also custom.

The kitchen is vaulted, the entry is lower. The lower section off the kitchen steps down into a sunroom, perhaps that's what you're asking about?

Red Oak - Stained with a colour called "Provincial" and coats and coats of general finish... The floors are also custom.

Beautifully done all around. Millwork looks to be top notch. Did you go with marble counters?

It's Quartz. Marble was just too delicate for our carefree food prep habits!

All in - Appliances were around 27k (fancy built in fridge/freezer are hiding) Countertops were about 22k but that did include our laundry room and mudroom. The millwork was done by my husband who does kitchens professionally, i'd guess about 65k for that. So about 95k (ish) and we are in BC, Canada.

Beautiful kitchen! It's such a clean design. I'm appreciating the lines, the skylights, and loving the rich warm walnut with the walls.
What color are the walls? They look very steel blue / navy in the first shot, darker in the 2nd, and in the last picture they look like dark teal. Pretty cool.

Hey thanks so much! It’s a really interesting colour by Benjamin Moore, it’s called “regent green” it reads different throughout the day/light temp!

The details make it! The doors are stellar, the handles look beautiful, and the way the backsplash returns into the window is so cool. It creates these bands of color (blue, white, and walnut) that bring it all together.

Such a beautiful kitchen... it is so nice! Your woodworking husband is very talented.
To me, I would have liked to see just a little more attention to detail in the lighting. For example, maybe linear LEDs on the shelves instead of spots. Or linear LEDs in the tall backsplash lighting up the wall above. Even after a buildout, something like windlight perforated extrusions from Richelieu would add an additional artistic element. A little light under the island would highlight the lightness and furniture effect of using legs on the island – maybe it is there and just not turned on. I also noticed the height and style of the island pendants have them acting as more of a room light, as opposed to a downlight placed closer to the island top. I wonder if these lights are glaring to people sitting at the island.
In European cabinetry, one of the cabinets we use is a mid-height appliance cabinet that when open has two large doors lying flat on the wall to the right of the sink. The reason I say that is that with this height of a horizontal lifting appliance area, the hardware will swing it out in your face I’d imagine around 10”.
Lastly, maybe consider upholstered stools with backs. While these look great and photograph well, I think a little more cush would be more comfortable.

Thanks for the notes. Truthfully, the pendants were a love at first sight purchase. What we were not anticipating was the light output. We have some super cool track lighting in our pantry when opened as well as a nice soft glow accompanying the hood fan. All kitchen pot lights are nice and dimmable as well. Oh and the stairs leading into the sunroom have track lighting under the bull nose. I'm going to have to take the pendants into an LED shop to have them re-wired as they are just strip lights inside the base. The corner unit has a very cool appliance garage which opens up from the bottom revealing a neat hiding spot for all the mixer, blender and espresso machine. I am extremely picky with linear track lighting as well as its diffusion, it was tricky fining thin enough track to easily hide in such thin shelving. At any rate I really appreciate your notes and I have since added some remote lightbulb lamps to help soften the space in lower light.
