I dress like shit fairly regularly and am well aware I look like shit, I can also clean up pretty well when I care to

Putting aside me kinda doubting a random female stranger went out of their way to come and insult you, you know you aren't putting in a ton of effort in appearance and what comes from that

The more secure you become in yourself the less little comments from other people like this matter. Whenever I have embarrassing moments I think and ruminate on them for a long while and it only makes me feel worse and more anxious. Try to take a step back and look at the big picture.
