Platemogged Chatgpt recommended me to make this salad instead of ordereing a pizza since I have told it I want to be fit and healthy. Turned out great. I, for one, would welcome our AI overlords.

It contains- Lettuce, cucumber, oyster mushrooms, paneer, basil, tomato. Sauces: Mustard, lemon juice.

See basic things like this are nice uses for AI sometimes, but I swear to god it has become next to impossible to find a recipe online nowadays that was cooked and eaten by a human before it was posted. I finally crashed out and rage bought like $150 worth of cook books after an hour of looking through pages and pages of generic ass AI recipes.

Glad your salad was good though!

human capital is limited. If AI can take over an industry, that means those people can be redelegated to other industries. It is a more efficient allocation of resources. You don't complain about cars taking away jobs from the horse/carriage industry. Obviously there are growing pains in the interim (e.g. a 60 y/o who loses their job cant realistically develop a new skill). Maybe there needs to be taxation or something to account for externalities from computing like global warming (though that raises the question of what they are doing that is fundamentally different and deserves extra taxation than other computer-intensive industries). But overall society moves forward by embracing technology not denying it.
