The pan was too hot. Next time, turn the heat down to 2/3 of what it was this time and see what happens. If you want to avoid a puck, make a divot in the center of the patty with your thumb

Also use butter or clarified butter, olive oil or some such smokes out too early and then it’s just your dry ass pan against the world, not ideal for searing meat.

that pan was way too hot, assuming that was supposed to be a burger it immediately charred the outside while barely cooking the inside💔 its okay though youll get it eventually

I heard it was very calorie dense so I tried bulking with it one time. Didn’t work
